Discussion Looking for the tablet with the best processor for Android gaming and emulation available right now for under $200.

Would prefer screen size of 8inches or larger. 60hertz refresh rate is fine and so is 1080p resolution. A MicroSD card slot would be great but not a deal breaker if it doesn't have one. I wouldn't mind it being used/refurbished. Basically I'm just looking for the tablet with the most powerful processor currently available for under $200 to be used for mainly emulation and some Android gaming.

$200 is the very top of the price range. And it has to be available right now for this price. No Facebook Marketplace. The people in my area always list tech and gaming stuff on there for retail price or over and refuse to negotiate on price at all.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Check the new Onn tablets from Walmart. I watched some reviews on the 11 inch one and 8 inch one and am consider buying one.

The Samsung Tab A11+ is probably the strongest new tablet you can get for under $200. It has the Dimensity 7300 processor, which is up to 50% faster than the G99.

If you have an Amazon Prime Visa, you can get one for $210 and get 20% back (essentially store credit). The net price is $168. There are other deals out there, but you need to search for them. I paid $182 for a new one. Refurbished ones start at $170ish.

$200 and 8 in doesn't leave a lot of choices. I would get the lincplus m8 on Amazon which has the G99 chip. Also available is the A11 8gb on walmart.com.

If you don't mind a big tablet and spending more, the Idea tab pro is the only with a decent chip under $300.

Onn has a very slow CPU. Works fine for 2d or basic emu probably.

The 2026 Onn 11 has the same processor as the LincPlus.

yeah, but I'm talking if you want closer to the 8 in size.

If you prefer a smaller tablet, Walmart also has the Alldocube iPlay 70 Mini Pro for $182. This is an 8.4" tablet with the Dimensity 7050 processor.

for under $200 your best bet is a used lenovo legion y700 2023 with snapdragon 8+ gen 1. runs ps2 and gamecube emulation great. the samsung tab s7 snapdragon 865 version is also solid and has sd card slot. i ran into this last year hunting for an emulation tablet. avoid new tablets at this price they all have weak chips like unisoc or helio. check swappa or ebay for refurbished units not facebook marketplace.

After looking around almost everything you guys are recommending are over $200 and have inferior processors. If I was going to spend more than $200 I would just order an Odin 2 Portal with 8gb of RAM for $250.
