Request New Onn 8.1 (2026) model case?

Are there any slim cases for the new Onn 8.1 model yet? I searched on Amazon and there is one, but it looks like a more generic case that covers everything which I don't like.

Only thing I found was this at walmart onn Rugged Slim Case

this is the one I got with mine. I had to saw off the stylus holder because it was uncomfortable to hold.

i feel you on those generic cases - they're usually bulky and ugly. for new models like the onn 8.1, amazon takes a few weeks to get the good slim cases. what helped me before was checking case for Onn 8.1 tablet directly on ebay or aliexpress - those sellers often list slim cases earlier. also try searching for onn 8.1 folio case or onn 8.1 smart case. sometimes the 2025 model cases fit too if the dimensions are the same. worth a shot checking device measurements against older listings.

The problem is greatly exacerbated as this new 8.1 model is built with a 3/2 Aspect ratio which means it's wider than normal 8" tablets. So much harder to hold with one hand.

So when you add any type of casing to it (even less bulky ones) it makes it even harder to hold in one hand.

So regretfully, I can't add a case to the tablet.
