S24+ Exynos: I don’t understand why everyone says you must root to get good performance?
I keep seeing people on this sub saying rooting is the only way to get a stable device. My S24+ stays this cool during heavy tasks. Did I get a 'golden unit' or is the Exynos chip not as bad as people claim?
Also konabess for undervolting and overclocking for getting more battery+performance, battery only while reducing performance, or straight performance OC which isnt recomended unless you have a cooler.
I'm familiar with Konabess and kernel-level tweaking. While those are powerful tools for raw performance, my goal here was to prove that OneUI can be perfectly stable and thermally efficient without touching the kernel or tripping KNOX. Most 'performance issues' people face are due to background bloat, not hardware limitations. I prefer staying within the bounds of a clean user-space optimization rather than pushing the silicon to its limits.
any way to remove the memory management system and make it behave like lineageos? i have to reboot the phone every day or app crashing continuously, free ram from 4gb on boot to 1.5gb when it start crashing even with everything closed, happens on all 3 of my z flip 4 on different builds
"I wouldn't recommend jumping to a custom ROM like LineageOS on a device as hardware-specific as the Z Flip 4. You’ll lose the proprietary drivers and software optimizations for the hinge and folding display, which usually results in a worse experience than the one you're trying to fix. The reality isthat OneUI isn’t inherently broken, it’s just bloated. Instead of replacing the entire OS, I recommend stripping it down to the kernel level. Use Shizuku combined with a debloater (I personally use Canta via Shizuku). Audit your background processes and prune the Samsung and Google bloatware that’sfighting for your resources. When you remove the unnecessary telemetry and background services, you aren’t just gaining RAM; you’re restoring the system’s responsiveness without breaking hardware integration or Knox. It’s a cleaner, safer, and far more stable path tothe performance you’re looking for.

Root = remove bloatware (OneUI for Samsung) = more power available. Im not sure about this tho.
