if agender is no gender then why is it pronounced a gender

It's a Greek prefix that means "not" or "without", as in "amoral", "atonal", "agnostic", "asocial", or "asexual".

that's literally why atoms are named.. well "atoms" a -> "not" and temnein "to cut" Because since atoms are the smallest things possible, we can't cut them so that's why it's called atoms or "not able/impossible to cut"
