I think it's 1:1. One threnodian and One sentinel per region. Threnodians were first and then the Exostrider delivered a sentinel to fight it and protect civilizations. Huanglong probably had too many threnodians that the original dragon sentinel split in 7 sentinels to protect the vast land of Huanglong.

Ovathrax is specifically mentioned as Jinzhou's threnodian, Qiuyuan was suspected to be Chongzhou's threnodian resonator.
So Mengzhou probably also have it's threnodian5

I mean it's inferred by using context clues imo. Ovathrax is specifically Jinzhou's threnodian because it's the first battle ground against TD's. Ovathrax is also classified as Jinzhou's threnodian, and not Huanglong's.
Unless Kuro wants to redact their 1.0 lore, more than they already have, this would be a huge rewrite if Mengzhou doesn't have it's own Threnodian but has a sentinel. Sentinel's and Threnodian's are supposed to be yin and yang's to each other.

Threnodians are not the same thing as Sentinels, Threnodians are born from the lament and created by human fears and emotion. Where there is a collective of people, they will have to deal with their own threnodian.
Huanglong is a massive region, bigger than all of Rinascita and Lahai-Roi. As someone else said, it's already been confirmed that Chongzhou has' its own threnodian, so the other cities will be the same.

Overthrax isn't the only Threnodian on Huanglong. From Qiuyuan backstory the Threnodian of Chongzhou is confirmed so theres a chance that all the major cities of Huanglong has its own Threnodian. This is probably why the Original Sentinel of Huanglong split into 7.

Everybody has different relationships and boundaries with leaked info and spoilers. Saying that first, is this really a story spoiler? To me, I would call this lore or background info. It is spoiler in the sense that this is brand new information not seen yet, but it doesn't feel like something directly or indirectly related to any plot.

i think they just call it that just to be safe because even if i'd agree with you there's probably someone out there who would consider it a spoiler and only visits this sub for resonator leaks or whatever else so they'd rather not see it

The fine balance accounting for everyone is tricky. It's weird staring at a redacted post and not knowing if it's a genuine story spoiler or if it's word information based on my personal standards, but that's the price you pay, you know? It's much safer and easier to lump things together to protect the experience of a whole community.

Wait so jinzhou was founded 100 years ago by rover and Jue, Jue landed in mt firmament before Jinzhou was stablished and Jinzhou was the newest city of Huanglong. So Mengzhou was founded 100 years before Jinzhou? Since it says that mengzhou was founded 200 years ago or it only says that the fortress was founded 200 years ago not Mengzhou city.

Xuanfang is basically territory line zone between jinzhou and Mengzhou
Mengzhou is Buling homeland this is where Qiuyan right now after Rinascita arc, said to be the home of taoism and abundance waterways

Imperator is the sentinel of all rinascita, ragunna city, septimont and Lily land. Hsin is the sentinel of xuanfang city and xuanfang city is part of Mengzhou. Think about Mengzhou as a State or province not just a city.

Yep, minting is the capital of all Huanglong and Huanglong has a emperor and a royal family and all of that, every province or city has a magistred or leader but they all respond to the emperor and royal family's.

Yes. Even Jinzhou had more than one city (Guixu but it was destroyed, although it technically is older than Jinzhou—a prehistoric city ruin), some towns/villages, plus Mt. Firmament.

It does exist, this post about yuancheng ruins, xuanfang's sentinel is also hsin, xuanfang is a single border city, mengzhou is a region like jinzhou

regions can have more then one cities, you know. Xuanfang is the border city that defends Mengzhou's main city. They literally showed us Xuanfang city in that teaser, it looks more like a city that mt firmament
maybe you mixing up because Jinzhou region's city is also named Jinzhou
People use jinzhou region and jinzhou city, as just jinzhou0
