Do lacrosse players actually struggle to find photographers at their events?

Where my girls play, we are lucky to even get a couple dozen spectators in the stands, we've never been lucky enough to have a photographer.

That’s honestly one of the biggest things I’ve been noticing while doing this research. A lot of athletes in smaller or less-publicized sports put in just as much time and effort, but their games/events barely get covered compared to bigger sports.

I think that’s part of why younger athletes especially want photos and videos so badly now. For a lot of them, it’s one of the only lasting ways their seasons, improvements, and memories actually get documented. Thanks for sharing that perspective.

It depends on a lot of factors. Is it town league, club, high school, college, etc.

If you want pictures taken and it doesn't seem like anyone is, you can also do it. You may not have newspaper connections or anything, but that's not the real reason for photos. Take them yourself and put them in your Google drive or icloud account and share the link with the other parents. They'll appreciate it.

If one person starts doing it, more will. Both of my daughters play on two teams each and once one person started sharing photos, two or three more join in.
