NCAA Championships locations?

Can anyone tell me why the women’s D2 and D3 championships need to be in Rochester while the women’s D1 is in Chicago? The men’s have all D1, D2, and D3 championships played at the same location, Scott Stadium in Charlottesville, VA.

It should be a full weekend of both men’s and woman’s. 6 games over 2 or 3 days with a fan experience village, vendors, etc, and would be something I’d be down to take my kids too.

It used to be, it coincided with the national tournament weekend. It was really nice.

Last year the men’s and women’s was at foxboro it was great. Guess logistics aren’t a thing with NCAA. We had a ton of fun and I’m sure something like that for all D1-3 could be handled.

Zero reason why it’s not

I think this year they were booted from foxboro due to world cup preparations.

But as pointed out elsewhere in the comments it is mentioned that last year d1 women was held with d1,2,3 men but d2,3 women were held elsewhere

I was there last year it was great and would’ve been so easy to accommodate those other two games.

I do know in NCAA soccer the men's and women's play on different weekends.

And d2 and d3 play in a different location from d1

There probably should be some consolidation.

But not yet. The D2 women’s is near me in 2027 and my best friend’s daughter has a pretty good shot at playing in it. So selfishly, keep it as is for now. Change it in 2028! 😭😭
