Discussion Mandatory Windows 11?

Post image

What do they mean here?

Would windows 11 be required like "recommended" or would it be mandatory? Cause my current PC can handle Witcher 3 at medium graphics with decent 60 FPS but It can't handle the update to windows 11.

So would I still be able to play Witcher 3 on windows 10 or not anymore?

If this is the case, then they should add a roll back version like they did with classic. Allowing us to roll back the game version to the current 4.0

Another question, do you think the new DLC would work on roll backed version? Like, say, someone plays on 1.32 classic.

Would they still be able to experience the new DLC?

I have a friend who introduced me to the Witcher 3 but they don't have the best PC so they're playing the game version before the next-gen update, would suck if they can't experience the new DLC after being a fan of the Witcher 3 for so long.

Games released for Windows XP could still be launched in Windows 7. And in Windows Vista. And in Windows 8. And in Windows 10. And still can be launched in Windows 11. Maybe not *all* of them work properly, of course the older the game is, the more probable it may not work or might need to do extra work to make it work. But Windows 10 and Windows 11 are almost identical in their gaming capabilities. As they say, simply they won't test them in Windows 10 nor will fix any problem that could appear playing in Windows 10. Still, the game will launch.
