Discussion Mandatory Windows 11?

Post image

What do they mean here?

Would windows 11 be required like "recommended" or would it be mandatory? Cause my current PC can handle Witcher 3 at medium graphics with decent 60 FPS but It can't handle the update to windows 11.

So would I still be able to play Witcher 3 on windows 10 or not anymore?

If this is the case, then they should add a roll back version like they did with classic. Allowing us to roll back the game version to the current 4.0

Another question, do you think the new DLC would work on roll backed version? Like, say, someone plays on 1.32 classic.

Would they still be able to experience the new DLC?

I have a friend who introduced me to the Witcher 3 but they don't have the best PC so they're playing the game version before the next-gen update, would suck if they can't experience the new DLC after being a fan of the Witcher 3 for so long.

Basically you have to be using Windows 11 since support for Windows 10 ended. So no, you won’t be able to play the new update on Windows 10, but you should be able to play your current versions if you don’t update. This is how I’m understanding it.

And with that in mind, no, I can’t imagine you could play the new DLC on an old version, since the whole thing is it not being compatible with Windows 10, and thus the old version.

Yeah, it will suck, but at some point games move forward and progress.

I think you can play on windows 10, but if there's anything, literally anything that goes wrong is that they would have no way or wont even be interested in fixing or attempting to fix it.

Thats just wrong you can completely run the dlc, its just not guaranteed if you would run into any bugs caused by win 10 but that happens so rarely
