Considering WCU
Hello! My daughter is considering attending WCU in the fall. On paper the school looks great and more importantly they offer the exact program she is looking for. I’m am a little worried about her feeling secluded, we live in a large city in Florida and not sure how she’ll acclimate to a small town feel. We are going to see the campus this weekend but any feedback both good and bad would be appreciated.

Western is an hour or so from Asheville(largest city in the Mountains). I grew up in Winston-Salem which is a large city in NC and felt more at home when I was in Cullowhee. There are lots to do on campus even if it's a bit more remote. Lots to do nearby in the small towns like Sylva, Dillsboro, Waynesville etc
