Considering WCU
Hello! My daughter is considering attending WCU in the fall. On paper the school looks great and more importantly they offer the exact program she is looking for. I’m am a little worried about her feeling secluded, we live in a large city in Florida and not sure how she’ll acclimate to a small town feel. We are going to see the campus this weekend but any feedback both good and bad would be appreciated.

Ive been here since 2011. Never left after school.
It clicks for some people. My wife and I both graduated and made lives for ourselves here. Asheville isnt far. The airport connects to Florida and many other places.
Once or twice a year, I still go to the dining hall when I want Panda Express.
Ultimately, going where her choice of course of study is offered is most important. I don't think employers care much anymore about what school you go to.
I pay off my last $300 in student loans by May. Cheap , safe , modern enough.
