Does filing by phone still work? Are you asked for verification of job search activities when filing by phone?
1
u/deloslabinc Aug 08 '21
it asks if you did the activity, it does not ask for a link to video or screen shot like it says in the approved job search activities. it seems the only way to enter an activity is if you made an actual employer contact otherwise it's just yes and no tabs

yes, you can still file by phone, however I wrote an entry in the roadmap about how this is a little bit dangerous because you absolutely do need to continue to maintain and keep your job log
From the Roadmap, Job Search Activity section
Added 6/20: Job Search Reporting by Calling in Claim? None. But bad idea

I did the activity (and logged it) I’m just annoyed at the web robot.

there has been a weekly recurring post that contains a link at the very bottom about how to stop claiming, that has appeared for the last 8 weeks or so, on this post

I’m stuck in pending after working a couple 40 hour weeks for my part time on-call job. What should I do?

start an escalation. I tried to make this easy to find by making a recurring post, by putting it in my user flair, and in the sub description, as a rule in the sub, and the posting guidelines. no big deal

Did anyone else have all of the issues they have already have resolved get brought back up when you sent in your work verification? I have a "conflicting job separation" flag on my account that has been fixed 3 separate times since I started filing PUA that is now an issue again. They refuse to transfer my PUA like they always do and now I have to wait for a call back pushing my next payment into next week some time. I go so exhausted of this garbage..

The first time was because when I was first filed the lady put in the dates wrong, the second time was after the PNC it brought it back up, now this after I send in my w2. Every time I do as they ask some freaking issue comes up and prevents me from filing.

Does anyone know if there is a class action in process or being considered?
The gross incompetence has caused direct financial harm to myself and thousands of others. Such abject failure to execute our rightful claim to our insurance benefits needs to be accounted for. Can the government be sued?
I got a job months ago. I got caught in the “5 days to verify ID, oops, you missed it, now you owe us everything we paid you” trap. I thought I was done with their crap.
Losing a job put my self esteem in the trash. The effort to make it through some dark times didn’t allow room for anger. But I’m in a different headspace now. My new employer values me. I have resources. Getting that bill claiming I owe them thousands tapped into a deep well of anger I’ve held inside for a year now.
