FMLA - WA State cannot raise claim

I am trying to raise a claim for FMLA. I already have a Paid Leave account as I raised a claim last year. However when I am trying to do now, it is taking me to ‘Create an Account’ screen'

Because of that I cannot seem to raise a claim. I sent an email on 5/8, but got no response so far. I am NOT able to access this page - On your ‘Paid Leave benefit account homepage’

click Apply for Benefits.

Thanks

Fmla is a federal law that provides employees with unpaid protected leave. You apply for it through your hr department.

The application for the PFMLA through the state is through the WA secure web portal.

You are probably talking about the Washington state paid family and medical leave. The website is ridiculous. It’s definitely not you.

Did you try to login using your previous information? https://secureaccess.wa.gov/myAccess/saw/select.do Try to login and reset your password if you have to.

If it’s any consolation, I just tried to login to see if the site would work for me, and it didn’t recognize my password.

Since you used it last year, this is unlikely to be the problem, but keep in mind that you have to go through two steps with regards to setting up an account. You create the account then you have to add each service that you want to use through the state website. Again, it’s ridiculous. Best of luck.
