RESOLVED Employer didn't report wages

I am filing the unemployment claim. From the first 4 of the last four quarters, three are in Washington. The other one is out of state. My former employer didn't report wages properly in Washington, so the current Washington estimate is 0. I flagged this to my former employer, and they are going to fix it.

Meanwhile:

  1. Should I file the Unemployment Claim now?
  2. Should I file the Combined Wage Claim? (W/R/T this, I don't want Washington to reach out to the other state, and the other state to reply with the wrong information)

Hi there happily You accidentally scrolled past the solution on the way to make the post but it's okay that's why I'm here

So the vast majority of all compiled resources are at the top of the community in that post that you see, the one that says

Compilation of Resources post

And if we look at that then we see that... Like the fourth post-down or so is...

You are supposed to report all jobs. Were you getting paid in that other State (did your taxes show as paid there) or were they paying you as a Washington employee (unemployment paid to WA State)? If the company was paying you as an Oregon employee, for example, they would not report your income to WA, ESD would request the wage information from OR. If those hours are necessary to make you eligible then your claim will show as disqualified until they get that information, but then it would be adjusted whenever the info hits their system.

If the amount of pay would affect your benefit amount, but you still qualified with just thecWA wages then whenever the wages show up you will have to ask for a monetary redetermination and they will do that. If it changes your benefit they will backdate that to the start of your claim and you would get the difference paid to you.

If you have copies of all your paystubs.. send them in through their email on your esd account. I had to do that when I got laid off at my WFH position.

This happened to me. It required getting your employer to send records of your pay to the state. You’ll also have to provide a year of pay stubs (maybe 2). You will eventually get it. It is slow but you will. Keep calling the state and stay in touch with your employer.

I am wondering if some of this is happening so that the employer's unemployment percentage, on a quarterly basis, does not go up; are they perhaps trying to "skirt" the system? Just wondering.
