In Progress... Adjudication since Sept. 30

Escalation to Bob Ferguson's office did it I think but I got paid today x 9 weeks. Thanks for all the help!

Was terminated on Sept. 20 from my position of 8 years 9 months.
They told me it was due to lack of work and I was free to reapply.
I received severance and reported it in the filing. I have been filing every Sunday for 10 weeks. There has been zero movement on the website.

Date I applied: Sept. 21
I was terminated and not for cause.

Separation from a job - COMPANYNAME LLC - Sep 20 2025

Am I missing anything?

Hi there. are you new here? Welcome! I am excited to work with you.

Have you seen me have this conversation in the posts below you (it's been the same troubleshooting type conversation for about 2 years now so they're all listed below)? I would like to do the same thing if you would like to

I have a guide for this conversation because this is by far the most common conversation.

do you kind of know how this conversation works? generally, I provided a guide that structures the conversation because otherwise most often I get a huge amount of backstory but no real details not because people are dumb but because the system is so counterintuitive and opaque that they don't really know what I need to know.

are you cool with doing that? you will have to read the guide and follow it and then respond. both read. and respond accordingly

everyone with this question is asked the same questions. those are those questions below that you see me asking other people. we're going to be doing the same thing

This is the information we'll need

I WANT CUSTOM HELP, I WANT THE MOD TO WALK ME THROUGH IT SO I DON'T MAKE A MISTAKE

Pending? Info I need to help you; Initial eligibility Troubleshooting

  • Date you applied
  • name of open eligibility issues
  • type of job separation

Next, we need to confirm what you have previously reported to ESD to make sure that it matches the scenario you have identified, and since it has now been reported twice, that both responses match. And if they don't we will discuss it.

It has been reported on the "initial claim filing" And then about 3 weeks later on a fact finding questionnaire you got called "All Separations"

The submissions can be viewable in the tab area online account titled online activity.

This link is a guide. The first part is a preamble begging you to please read this to understand why we're doing this. The bottom part is the instructions. So I'm pleading with you to please read it and consider following it so that we are not missing something significantly material about your claim.

Specifically the job separation fack finding dropped out menu. Within a specific section within the submission

u/suchchad Friendly reminder about this part of initial eligibility - we need to see visually what was reported twice in two specific places in the online account and compare it to the way that we can characterize the job separation now looking back at it with both you and I looking through the lens of how unemployment would look at it

I am going to ask you clarification questions from the first link provided,

from this link

These types of questions

CLARIFICATION QUESTIONS FOR QUIT OR FIRED

Are you willing to continue the troubleshooting by answering these questions that were posted earlier?

u/suchchad Dec 03 '25

Yes, I am willing to continue and I think I answered all the questions in the post. I was sure terminated meaning fired not quit.

Can you give me one sentence as to the reason that you were fired?

Did your company give you anything in writing about your termination?

What if anything have you previously uploaded to ESD? These things cannot be retracted

Do you also have the screenshot from the initial claim filing?

Did your company give you anything in writing about the termination?

[Full disclosure: i wfh tue-wed so i am in and out of availability until after hours, when I convert to Reddit volunteering after the workday for 2-4hrs, starting about 630pm]

Sorry, I thought I had attached both screenshots. The reasons are exactly the same although I did say that I did not know the exact reason just that I was fired. Terminated. I am away from my computer right now but the reason match in both places.

If it was for lack of work, that’s not getting fired. It’s getting laid off. I hope you let the moderator help you. I bet this is a really stressful situation.

It's all good I'll just open up a chat so that you can send me the other one or just to continue chatting about the case

Im going through same thing. I was fired sep 2nd. Call the governors office and escalate your claim. Make sure you have your claim ID. Sadly enough, they have prompts for this specific reason. I have 2 reviews with unemployment and had to escalate. After escalating last weekend, unemployment resolved first hold within days, but I had to file my second escalation for the other review still on hold (side gig jobs)

u/suchchad Dec 04 '25

Thanks, I'll look into that tomorrow in addition to calling at 8 on the dot tomorrow.

1

u/pangopan26 Dec 04 '25

Awesome. Yeah the gov. Office is open 8 to 5. No long hold times either just make sure you have claim Id and date you filed first claim. I think there has to be a min. Of 6 weeks passed before you can escalate with them

1

u/Due-Economist-5919 Dec 04 '25

what number did you call to escalate?

2

u/pangopan26 Dec 04 '25

I just googled governors office. It was the main number . There’s prompts for the unemployment stuff. Don’t leave voicemail speak to someone. It was very quick just make sure you have unemployment claim number and date you first filed. They send an email right away. It was very quick

You’re welcome! Also, I just realized I finally for my backpay today. Escalated a little less than 2 weeks ago Hope that helps. Good luck

Whether it just came through because my number came up or whatever happened I just got my letter and my claim has started moving.
