In Progress... Need some help, pending since September 20th.

I was let go from a position in September for performance and have been stuck in pending since. Is there anything I can do to speed up the process.

  1. Job Separation Type: Fired

  2. Open eligibility issue: Separation from a job

  3. Applied September 20th.

Thank you,

In one sentence what was the reason that you were fired

I was fired for performance, my sales numbers dropped below a certain threshold.

Did you receive anything in writing from your employer about the termination that specifically states a reason? If it says performance, does it also include any other details

I was not provided any documentation I was brought to a conference room at the end of the day and told “ unfortunately we are letting you go due to performance” should I reach out to my employer and request some sort of documentation that lets them know I was letgo due too performance?

No you do not need to do that. I did not suggest that and if you look at previous performance conversations by searching the keyword "performance", sort ny "most recent", and search in comments, you will see that I don't suggest this. I am just asking you the typical troubleshooting questions that you will see I have asked all these other people for years

Was the performance issue

  • quota
  • workmanship
  • speed/efficiency

  • Was this a surprise or were there previous conversations or documentations such as performance Improvement plans?

What can I do besides wait? Not upset with you since I don’t know you, the entire system is frustrating and stressful.

So below what we are doing right now you'll see 5 years of me working with people to try to get them paid faster. That's what I'm doing with everyone else too. See? Do you want to do it too?
