In Progress... Early in Adjudication
Hello. I have read some of the posts here and the guide and want to verify that I am not risking negatively affecting my claim. I have not been in adjudication as long as some of the others here, but I am following to ensure that I stay on the right path.
I filed a claim on 10/26/2025 and it went to adjudication on 11/02/2025.
My reason for sep. was relocating due to following spouse for their employment.
I did request to continue with my employer in a remote capacity out-of-state, but was denied out-of-state work.
I do have a link in uploads for "Separation from a job" and "General Documents" but I am not sure what exactly is being requested, nor if I actually need to upload anything at this point.

What they look for in these cases is that you stayed employed until the latest time before your move. They will contact you to see how soon after you quit that the relocation took place and will make a determination based on that. I don’t think you need to supply any more information until they reach out to you with specific questions regarding the timing of your move.

Thanks. I put in a formal request to continue my work from an out of state location, after review, they declined. I kept a copy of my request and the denial just in case it is needed. I ended up working up until about 2-days before we drove to our new state. I'm actively searching, but the market is rough. Keeping my logs and everything, just hoping to get through my adjudication and not be doing something that is holding things up from my own end.

If you worked until just before the move you should be good. They don’t want to allow someone to have a week between the two events unless it’s an extraordinary situation, but 2 days should be fine. It may take them a while to get to your adjudication because they are short staffed for the number of applicants at this time.

Hi there this type of separation is governed by a specific law and therefore I have a specific template for this. As was indicated by the other user who is correct, in the template you will see a section that identifies itself as the most important and why; what they said.
The best practice is as follows
i give you the template
you create a draft of what you think the template is telling you to do
you showed me the draft and I give feedback
once acceptable, we upload it in a particular way in a particular place
