RESOLVED Complex claim for out of state resident who worked for washington state

So I was an out of state resident (Oregon to be exact) who worked in Washington state. I've had to move around a bunch and the jobs i worked didn't work out in the end and I was told to file unemployment in Washington State as the first two quarters for 2025 would not have monetary value towards a claim. (This was voice by my own states unemployment) I had had a previous claim but i was able to find a job and now that i am reclaiming i had a refile and have been waiting six weeks now. I am getting to a point where finances are difficult but have found a new job that wont be able to help me in time and I have been trying to call to see what is being the problem on the multiple weeks pending but have always called multiple times to no avail. the one time i got through i was only told that I "had done everything right" and that nothing more can be done.

I refiled on the 15th of June and was given a letter describing my benefits and I looked for eligible work until i found a new job recently. I have even sent messages weeks ago asking but can't even view them now. I was hoping to reach out to anyone to see what I could do to escalate but i am unsure of who to contact or how to as when i looked up the legislator for the district i worked in it wanted a Washington home address and prompted to talk about a bill or imitative number and i am very much confused as to how to go about this.

I have my case ID, proof of jobs applied for and even denied and eventually the proof i found a new job. I even have call logs for when I tried and failed to speak to someone at the unemployment office in Washington state.

Also I would like to point out that that I had two jobs in my home state of Oregon that I was terminated from. I also looked at the upload documents section but its only tells me that no action is needed. Finally I had my case refiled on the 15th of June but the status says determined and I am still reporting things weekly.

I would ask for help on how to move forwards with this as it is a very unusual case and I have no idea how I should approach this.

hey just a couple of questions for you to get this started

do you know what a combined wage claim is? did you work in other states in the last 18 months as a w to employee ?

did you apply for unemployment in any other state?

did you apply multiple times in Washington?

what you're trying to do is call a combined wage claim and I have an entire guide for that

I just don't really know where you are at in the process of that I just need the answers to these questions and then we can begin

I am aware of what a combined wage claim is. I worked in Oregon and Washington in the last 18 months.

I applied for Oregon after a job didn't work out in Oregon state.

I have now had to file in Washington Twice after Oregon told me to go back to Washington. This was because I only had monetary value for my time in 2024 and I only worked in Washington in that year.

okay so it sounds like you are aware that you will not be doing a combined wage claim, is that correct?

right?

I have to cancel everything that we've discussed because it seems like you might have done an escalation and therefore we have to redo all of this if you did. if you did do an escalation then none of this is going to apply

Wait a minute did you do an escalation?

I was prompted by a similar thread as to contacting the governors office to ask about my case. It was the first real time I got through and they did in fact escalate my case and I have recently gotten a notification on this on my case. I found these answers by reading some of the other threads in here so that I would be able to troubleshoot my problem better. I am very thankful this thread provided me with an answer I overlooked.

okay cool so I kind of assume but the nature of what you just wrote, I am understanding that you are implying that you are happy, that your issues are resolved and that you don't need any more help. Good. I'm glad. if you do have an issue in the future I would highly recommend that we do some amount of troubleshooting. some amount. prior to doing an escalation

I do not know how much confidence or confidence you have about if this will work out or if you will get disqualified and what would need to be done in order to appeal this. so I assume that everything is taken care of and you have someone looking at it or otherwise it's resolved.

very happy. thank you for the heads up
