Adjudicator assignment taking longer than expected…

Hey all. I thought I’d post and see if anyone else is dealing with a long wait period for an adjudicator to be assigned to their case? I’ve only got one thing left for review and that’s concerning my separation from my job. I’ve provided extra documentation to help with the process and still nothing. It’s been four weeks and although I understand with the federal layoffs they’ve been hit with a heavy workload , I’ve still got some bills that I have promised to pay. It’s frustrating but I try to be understanding. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I did what many have said about contacting your state rep. I filed on 2/17/25 after being fired on 2/5/25 and was promised I’d be paid thru 2/10/25 (he did not). My claims were being denied and then my status changed to adjudication on 3/1/25. Knowing I was fired and included the text from my boss that I was fired and i no other employment issues at work, I figured I should be able to get benefits. So I emailed my state rep with the template provided by another redditor. My case number ect and why I was in desperate need for my benefits. I emailed at 10:40pm on Monday 3/10 and received a reply from reps assistant at 8:30am 3/11 that he had escalated my claim and if there was no further movement in 10 days to reach out again. ESD emailed my at 8:53am that there was an issue with my able not able dates from a previous claim (2020 Covid) and had been fixed and she has assigned me to a person regarding information for my adjudication. Well- someone did call me at 12:20pm but I wasn’t able to answer in time. I kept calling her, and have left her 2 messages. I will try and call her tomorrow to see if we can get my case moving, but if you’re in a pinch I’d recommend messaging your state rep for assistance. We’ve used our savings to cover our mortgage payments for Feb/March, but I thankfully start a new job next week, but it’s still 4 weeks of payments I’d like to have as a cushion. Good luck!

I’ve heard good things about contacting my state rep. I have some paperwork to send in first that requires my doctor to fill out. But if there isn’t movement after the fact I’m going to contact him/her and see what I can do. I have a year of benefits available but only plan on using about six months worth as I’m in the process of becoming a police officer which can take 4-6 months. So yeah fingers crossed.
