Discussion Adjudicator assignment taking longer than expected…

Hey all. I thought I’d post and see if anyone else is dealing with a long wait period for an adjudicator to be assigned to their case? I’ve only got one thing left for review and that’s concerning my separation from my job. I’ve provided extra documentation to help with the process and still nothing. It’s been four weeks and although I understand with the federal layoffs they’ve been hit with a heavy workload , I’ve still got some bills that I have promised to pay. It’s frustrating but I try to be understanding. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I mean it is a guarantee given I meet the criteria for eligibility. It’s kind of why I pay taxes. But I get where you’re coming from. But if 5-8 weeks is the standard then I won’t worry about it too much.

The Unemployment Insurance program in Washington state (and nationally) is a federal-state partnership, jointly financed through Federal and state employer payroll taxes Edit: which in turn pays unemployment benefits to eligible claimants and supports the administration of the UI program.

Fired. Was on FMLA and was fired shortly after when i tried to extend my leave. The extra documents I sent in were my medical records backing up that I was seeing a doctor the whole time. I’m pretty sure is was just a result of miscommunication and I got the short end of the stick.

Returned for a few days. Talked to my manager. He advised me to extend my leave. In the midst of getting the extension approved they let me go. I was new to it all so I was doing what I was told to do. Had plans to return to work because I liked the job. Just didn’t do something right I guess. On paper I was let go for missing work.
