Purchase Advice Sleeping Bag

As the title suggests I am looking for a new sleeping bag. My old one is a military surplus bag that just doesn’t cut it anymore.

I am looking for something light/ultralight and that packs down relatively small.

My sleeping pad is the Nemo Tensor Extreme Conditions Ultralight Insulated Sleeping Pad with an R value of 8.5.

I sleep quite cold and winter backpack and would love opinions on anything that keeps you very warm and fits my general parameters.

I’m not stuck to one brand and am open to whatever suggestions you all have.

Down quilts are the standard for most lightweight/ultralight backpackers nowadays. I use one except in the winter when I like a full mummy bag.

What's your budget and what kind of temps do you expect?

Budget isn’t an issue necessarily, just has to be warm and durable. Temperatures at night between 0-20 degrees usually

Katabatic is very popular here for quilts. If you have zero degree nights, (I assume we're talking fahrenheit) you may like a full mummy. I love my Western Mountaineering Versailite. It's a 10°. Quilts will usually always be lighter, but full bags will be better for drafts when it's really cold.
