I was like this 6 months back. Trying to make a career in music. Then i decided to be just another man in corporate. One month back i joined a good corporate. Now i have to start gym and reignite some hobbies.
What i wanted to do was to become a doctor. But my family didn't let me, ended up pursuing commerce and finance against my will & now i feel so lost because i don't even like it that much
But still i would've loved to do something that i wanted instead of doing something i don't even like :)
Besides finance also has a hugeeee competition these days and its a game over if you're not well informed and knowledgeable with hell lot of certifications
Yes yes i know but idk if i will end up liking it because its already causing me alot of stress anz i am so tired of keeping up with my peers.
They've done tonnes of certifications in finance already.
They are doing it because they like it but i am doing it because i didn't have another choice 😭 thats why i can't seem to find the motivation these days
You're senior to me, but I wish you were doing from a good clg after taking drop, also you can try applying for scholarships until and unless you receive one

Wanted to join Indian army but yeah got to know diabetes is an issue

Same here i graduated 2 days ago too and don't know what to do or go my only short term goal is get a internship or a job but i don't have it figured out what i will do in long term
I have studies and exams till 30 or even after it & and a lifetime career. It's less about wnat I've decided about my future & more about what the future holds for me 😮💨
I’m guessing you graduated from engineering and you’re clueless ? Stay at your job if you’ve got a placement, take some experience and then start higher studies or just start studying for ms or mba.
Assuming you aren't employed I would say just find a way to earn money on your own, doing whatever you're good at. It's just not about money it's about the feeling you know you are good enough, also makes you start respecting yourself more I guess.
22M and just graduated a few days ago from one of the top NITs. I have a campus placement not great, but enough to survive in this market. I'm planning to prepare for CAT alongside my job and pursue an MBA after gaining 2 years of work experience. So I'm targeting CAT 2028. Let's see. Wish me luck I hope I can make it to an IIM(hopefully.....!!)
worst decision of my life was not doing btech , did fucking b.sc and now b.ed and now i feel i'm done with my career , now just preparing for govt. exams that is the only way i can live in this society unless my future is gone
ykw, it's completely okay to be clueless, to have no plans, and to feel lost sometimes, nobody really has everything figured out, no matter how it looks from the outside. finding meaning to the life is too filmy sometimes, not everyone has to search for it.
I turned 26 last week, and while I do have a few dreamsI'm currently sitting in an office that might end up being a completely irrelevant detour with no impact on any of them whatsoever.
I'm writing this hoping it helps you or someone else, but it might not. That's kind of the point: plans don't always work, advice doesn't always land, and life doesn't happen everyday. People will tell you that you've got plenty of time to explore, make mistakes, and find what excites you again, and while it's true, it's not a guarantee. not a fairytale, sometimes life feels ordinary for long stretches, and nothing clicks for a while. That's alright too.

I will be graduating this year...but I started focusing on skill like video editing cuz someone said that you have to learn one freelance skill that can be helpful in future....and yeah it's actually paying me and it interests me so I am considering it for the future..

I'm 23M currently doing an internship along with my masters, and yeah idk what I want to do either. But I think I'll take some time off and think about it.
Graduated last year and currently working in the corporate world. I plan to stay in it until I’m around 35. After that, I will be only DJing, touring, and playing festivals and gigs however far it takes me, So I’ve got about 14 more years to prepare for that journey
chill dude M25 finished mbbs still unhappy coz i dont think this is for me , i write along with it and learning filmmaking . i feel i have wasted my years in this profession where everyday i feel running away from world . you take your time 6 mon to an year dont rush on things
I am thinking of taking a job and thinking of creating an movie watching meetup group in which for every saturday or sunday we all together go watch some movies.
We're in the same boat, i want to start working but my mom insists I take up 1 year masters since I've already completed 4 years BA under NEP. I'm so lost and i can't even go against my mom.
Get a job in your domain first and then try bunch of different shit to see which one you like to do, as barrier to entry is the lowest it's ever been. As for me I am happy with my corporate job and I'm learning investing on the side as I enjoy it. In my free time I just watach tv,go to gym,travel a few times and play pc games.Overall my future plan is to make my passive income equal to or greater than my salary so I have the option to retire from IT if things go south.
And don't think you're useless as you will become what you think.
