Unique wrench size

This wrench was in my father-in-laws toolbox, which was left to me. Just noticed it is 13/32, which I’ve never seen before (or a 13/32 nut, for that matter!)

Wife’s grandfather was a machinist, so I imagine that’s where it came from.

I just think it’s cool, and though I’d share it here!

It is probably for whatever my wrench is for as my Barcalo is also 5/16 and 13/32.

Was your FIL a machinist? My wrench belonged to my grandfather who was a machinist. I suspect the oddball size combination is specific to tooling used on old lathes or milling machines.

Yeah, it’s kind of weird that it skips over 3/8. Makes me think it was made for some specific purpose and not part of a general set.

Yes he was a machinist!
