FO/Completed Billy the Unicorn in chenille

I started this project a while back, stopped, went and learned some crochet basics, and started again. Found that the wooble yarn just wasn’t working for me (too gappy), so did this project using some chenille that I had on hand. It’s not perfect, but that adds to its charm, right?

The yarn is Premier Parfait (size 6). I used a 4.5mm hook.

I think this looks amazing! You did a good job! Is it hard to keep track of the stitches you are on with the chenille yarn?

I’m surprisingly better at feeling the stitches to count than counting visibly. Sometimes if I can’t figure it out, I frog it and start over.

I never thought of feeling for them. Maybe I will try that! I was just curious cause I have chenille yarn and I feel like when I tried to use it, I couldn’t really keep track of the stitches so maybe I’ll try again. :)

Wait I love this. I’ve never liked working with chenille yarn but I always thought it looked so cool
