How to Increase the Size of a pattern?

I would love to make a lot of the Woobles, but bigger. Is there a method or formula to follow to up the pattern to a bigger hook size? I am relatively new to crochet.

You just need a heavier yarn weight and larger hook, you don’t need to adjust the pattern.

Thank you! That's good to know. I wasn't sure if it required adding more stitches or anything

Nope just make sure you size down your hook ~1mm from whatever the yarn says to use to avoid large holes. For example if you ever buy a full individual Woobles easy peasy yarn skein you’ll see it actually recommends 5mm hooks but Woobles provides 4mm hooks because it’s for amigurumi

I've heard so many complicated explanations for this, but this seems really easy!

Hook 2 sizes smaller than the recommended for the yarn, on the yarn label..... For example, bernat blanket yarn recommends a 6.00mm or 6.5mm hook..... Using this formula, you would use a 5mm or 5.5mm
