Poe as a first is crazy impressive! That's alot to sew on! Looks really good too.

Really!?!? It said he was easy!!!! I cried trying to figure out how to sew parts on. It was so overwhelming. At a certain point I just winged it. I did throw him and cry during the teeth and jaw. (I have autism so I got extremely overwhelmed) It was a lot.

Oh no it's not just you. When I did my poe. I had already done a couple woobles already and even then I was super frustrated trying to sew all the parts on. Everything looked funny. Just like you did I ended up taking a small break and just winged it. Definitely give yourself a huge pat on the back fr. And some day ypu can come back and make another poe and see how you improved since then!😁

That came out so well! I just ordered that one and I’m waiting patiently for it to arrive. I’m trying to think of a way to attach a tiny male, like a real angler fish (maybe just a little chain stitch). Or maybe she would prefer to be single!

Thank you!!! Sewing the pieces on the body stressed me out and I feel like I need to improve in that area for sure.

Great work! I'll echo what others have said and that making Poe as your first was ambitious! There's a lot of pieces to sew on and you did a great job. Also, kudos to you for the yarn-under to get those X's instead of the yarn-over! Big fan of X's in amigurumi instead of the V's.

I also made this one a while ago and found it odd that they wanted you to stuff the mouth but it felt like they also wanted you to leave the top of the mouth unattached. I sewed mine shut. Didn't want him puking stuffing out all over the place.

Thank you!!! Also can you explain what you mean by me doing yarn under to get X’s vs yarn over for V’s. I am new to crochet!

Yeah stuffing the mouth also felt weird to do. I didn’t want it to stick out a bunch.
