Stupid Lexa, Clarke has to kill the sniper not to feel better, but to stop having your people getting picked off by him.

She was saying that because Clarke was thinking about it emotionally not tactically.

It seemed that Lexa was using that emotional argument to dissuade Clarke from going after the sniper altogether, and to simply leave him and flee. However, tactically speaking, going after the sniper to save your people (and warriors) seems like a good idea.

Not if the two leaders who the sniper are trying to kill, get killed themselves by walking up to the sniper.
