I was so relieved that Kane told her how she was being a hypocrite, that went exactly how I was hoping it would go.

Kane is very hot and cold. Sometimes he's too controlling, but other times he's the voice of wisdom!

Interesting, I don't see it as a back and forth with him. I've seen a slow progression towards being one of the good guys. I suppose that's like the difference between weather and climate.

That's what I saw with him, too. Especially from being pushy about making the decision to kill the 300 people, to trying to sacrifice himself to send them to the ground. But then he shock-lashed(?) Abby. I know he was trying to set authority, but it was still a step back for me.
