I have high hopes for the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie

Curry barker, director of obsession is confirmed to be the director on it. And with how well received obsession is, not to mention it's insane box office, I'm feeling really good about It. We could actually get a new TCM movie that is positively reviewed and actually has a wide theatrical release. I'd love to see another TCM perform how the 2003 remake did and I'm confident this will bring a new rise in popularity to the franchise.

Has it been confirmed whether or not it's going to be an actual reboot? I'm kind of sick of the last few films being connected to the original film

I'm not sure but to be honest I don't mind if it's gonna be connected to the original film cause we already have the 2003 remake. What I want personally is a movie that doesn't start a whole nother time line like the last few and actually connects the franchise.

I don’t have super high hopes but I am cautiously optimistic. I’m 29 years old and I’ve never gotten to see a good TCM film in theaters. I just want to experience one good TCM movie in my lifetime lmao

I think it'll be good, obsession is a pretty good movie and it's performing really well. I could be wrong but I feel good about it.

Loved obsession, like seriously might be in my top 20 favourite horror movies of all time. TCM is my number one favourite movie. That said, I have semi high hopes for curry’s version, but I’m not sure he’s coming at it from the perspective of a super fan, (which could be a good or bad thing). I also don’t think that he has much, if anything written for it, as per his interview with dead meat.

Time will have to tell

Im super pumped. From what hes talked about, he seems passionate about the franchise and wants to do it justice

It'll def be the best post Platinum Dunes TCM.

Will probably be in the top 2 of the franchise.

I honestly do not have high hopes for another tcm movie.  I haven't really fully enjoyed anything after the first two movies.
