Whats your opinion on Boss Sawyer?

He only exists in the 3D timeline which decanonizes the original sequels meaning chop top unfortunately doesn’t exist here, In the 3D timeline lore they retcon drayton to be Leatherface and Nubbins father instead of older brother, they also retcon grandpa to be the great grandfather of Nubbins and leatherface and change leathers name to Jed instead of Bubba, basically Boss Sawyer is the patriarch of the sawyers in the 3D timeline and is Draytons dad and Nubbins and Jeds grandfather and grandpas son, hes also played by the original leatherface actor, if he really is the “patriarch” of the sawyer family then why wasn’t he in Leatherface 2017, it doesn’t matter cause leatherface 2017 was a completely awful movie and the worst in the franchise, but i think this character is interesting because i can totally see him existing in the OG timeline as Draytons, Bubbas, Nubbins, and Chop-Tops dad, if you ask me he looks a bit too clean and normal looking to fit in with the other Sawyers, but I guess since he’s the patriarch in his timeline, it makes sense, even though the 3D timeline sucks especially leatherface 2017 i think Boss was an interesting character who had potential

Having Gunnar as an unmasked family member with lines alongside Bill Moseley as Drayton was a great idea and the biggest waste of potential in the film.

Sort of sad but Gunnar was offered to play the role of Leatherface in this film and he turned it town because he was too old. He found out later that he could have done it as the version of Leatherface was old and slow.

They did not get in Drayton to be Leatherface. Drayton is in the movie as his own thing. Opinion on Boss? None. He's a nothing character.

Bubba wasn’t his name in the original movie, he didn’t have a name, Bubba was given to him in the sequel, so of course it wasn’t gonna be canon to the 3D timeline since they were going based off him not having a name to begin with and made Jed.

He is in the movie Mosquito from 1995 where he picks up a chainsaw and has a cheesy line remincising about the saw lol. Fun call back if you knew who he is.
