Series recommendations please?

Just finished From and loved it. Looking for similar mystery/horror/sci-fi shows with lots of suspense, twists, strange events, and a creepy atmosphere.

The only requirement is little to no nudity or sex scenes since I'll be watching with family.

Any recommendations?

SUGGESTING just finished Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen… what are the best shows of 2026 so far?

I just finished Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen and honestly…

I wouldn’t call it a masterpiece or anything.

But I really liked how it managed to create this constant feeling that something was wrong and that something terrible was about to happen.

The psychological tension kept me hooked and I ended up binge-watching the whole thing in a couple of days.

It’s one of those shows where the atmosphere does a lot of the work.

Now I’m looking for something new.

Doesn’t even have to be horror, just a series that completely pulled you in and made you want to watch the next episode immediately.

Really curious what everyone’s favorite show of the year has been so far.

Looking for any true crime shows or documentaries that provide a psychological angle. Anything that includes a forensic psychologist or criminal psychologist. Loved Signs of a Psychopath and Killision Course, for example.

MultiMedia Show?

Upvotes

Not sure if i phrased this right. I'm a big fan of The Boys tv show and one of my favourite aspects is the in-universe elements it incorporates into episodes. Things like movie trailers, product ads, social media post, PSAs, etc. things that really add to the world building and social commentary. Are there any other shows which feature these as often as The Boys does?

I want to watch a sitcom: Community or Parks and rec, which one is better ? Also suggest me if there's any other shows too

REQUESTING Looking for something hopeful

I'm looking for a tv show thats thematically hopeful. it can be a mini series, animated, doesnt really matter.

the world is kinda shit right now and i think i could use something that isnt cynical or nihilistic. for example (tho its a movie) james gunn's superman felt inherently hopeful with its messaging. i really enjoyed the good place aswell.

i dont mean just any funny or feel good tv shows tho like the messaging or core theme of it all should be "hope" if that makes sense. i mentioned the good place because i really enjoyed the themes of morality and the afterlife. so im not looking for just sitcoms i watched plenty and enjoyed them. it can be anything genre wise as long as the themes of hope are consistent. anne with an e also comes to mind (sadly cancelled).

lmao i think i worded this kinda shit but i hope you can make sense of it. thanks ahead of suggestions!

REQUESTING Shows like Sex and the City?

Anytime I find a suggestion, it doesn’t scratch the same itch this show does. From the music, the outfits, literally everything. The only thing that scratched the itch was Girlfriends but the vibes are still very different

I need you

I need you to tell me the name of a superhero series/film that mixes Miraculous and Euphoria/Élite (yes, I know it sounds weird), that features several adolescents at a school who are secretly superheroes, but that also focuses on the stories between the protagonists and contains important themes. I don't know if such a series exists, let me know.

What's the most unique show you've ever watched, a show where no others shows are like it?

I've watched too many shows, nothings feels unique anymore. I've watched a dozen law enforcement, medical, organised crime shows. Everything just feels boring now.

I'm only interested in shows thar are one long story, non of that case of the week stuff.

The last 2 unique shows I watched were Hannibal and Resident Alien.

REQUESTING Looking for "High-Stakes Coming-of-Age" show recs!

Hey everyone! I am looking for my next addictive TV show obsession and need your best recommendations. Based on my current favorites, I think my specific genre is "High-Stakes Coming-of-Age Drama." I absolutely love stories that combine intense emotional relationships, chaotic teenage friendships, and unique, high-pressure environments.

To give you an idea of what I like, my favorite watches right now are Maxton Hall, Elite, Heartbreak High, and many more

As you can see, I am obsessed with a few specific vibes. I love the wealthy, secret-filled school drama and insane romantic chemistry at the same time, I am a huge fan of dark, supernatural survival stories

Basically, I crave high-stakes plots, rivals-to-lovers tropes, deep emotional angst, and friendships that feel like family. What should I add to my watchlist next? Drop your best suggestions below!

REQUESTING Please suggest some more addictive shows that have the same level of addiction like the below examples

I was so addicted to the tv shows of Banshee , Memory Of A Killer , Justified , Absentia , Cobra Kai , The Tourist , Tell Me Lies , Surviving Summer , Dare Me , The Undoing , The Day Of The Jackal , Land Man with billy bob thornton , Outer Banks, and Night Agent

I like that they don’t require much thinking , are a blend of thriller/ lots of action , some mystery , and dark teen / young adult drama & comedy with the revenge against bullies or fake friends , relationship drama with the nuidity, scenes, or competition with your peers like what you see in Banshee , Tell Me Lies , Cobra Kai , and Dare Me. They all have lots of action , i like that in some of the shows they have to fight against the law to prove their innocence and catch those actually responsible for the crime. So basically revenge against the bully or fake friend that did them wrong , revenge against being set up by the law , or just any simple revenge where they messed with the wrong guy , or an interesting hit man show like Memory Of A Killer and The Day Of The Jackal where it’s nearly impossible to find the hitman but there’s still lots of action and entertainment at the same time. Tulsa King , Mr inbetween , Bosch & Bosh Legacy were all good but not as addictive as the above, i’m looking for something as addictive as the above options. Thanks in advance

Side note;

Please don’t recommend me tv shows of shameless , sex education , dexter , pretty little liars , or the brothers sun ( i don’t like tv shows with subtitles for some reason but i don’t mind it in movies ) , or the 100. I couldn’t get into them unfortunately. I would love to get some suggestions like the 14 examples first mentioned.

REQUESTING Similar vibe recommendations please! Sci-fi/Mystery

I have a few genres that I stay within for the most part, so not all of these shows are the same kind of vibe, but I would like to hear recommendations for anything similar to any of them! Here are my recently watched/loved shows:

Silo 10/10 (seriously love this one)

The Boroughs 8/10

How to get to Heaven from Belfast 8/10

Presumed Innocent 7.5/10

Black Bird 9/10

The Midnight Club 9/10 (sad it got cancelled)

3 Body Problem 9/10

Stranger Things 9/10 (excluding most of season 5 lol)

The Residence 8/10

The OA 10/10 (so mad they never finished this)

I have also already watched Dept. Q, The After Party, The Terror, Midnight Mass, The Fall of the House of Usher, Alias Grace, Penny Dreadful, Sharp Objects, Maniac, School Spirits, Fallout, Station Eleven, Dark, Resident Alien, Black Mirror, The 100, The Boys, and a whole lot more. If you can't tell, the genres I am drawn to are sci-fi, mystery, thriller, and a bit of crime/drama! Not into the super horror stuff, but a little suspense is good.

(I have Netflix, AppleTV, Hulu/Disney, Amazon Prime/Paramount)

REQUESTING Comedy Recommendation

I am looking for more light hearted comedy series to watch - here are some of my favourite shows.

How I meet your mother

2 & a half men

Inbetweeners

White Gold

Modern Family

Super Store

Archer

Brooklyn 99

Big Bang Theory

Lovesick

Those are some shows I like to go back and rewatch but looking for some new shows.

I recently started watching Ghost which is pretty decent. Looking for something entertaining that I can put in background while working and tune in and out.
