Renew Tag
I've been trying to renew my tag online but for the last few weeks the site states its down for upgrades/maintenance. Its my first time renewing since moving to Tallahassee and I see I can renew by mail, in person or specific Publix with kiosks besides online.
I guess I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered the online issue or is it me and bc it's my first renewal. 😄🤔
(And does anyone one have issues with mail renewal as I work)
Thanks and have a great day!

I’ll second that.
We went to renew and it online wasn’t working. Wife called DMV and they said the site has been down for close to a month (no comment needed). They directed us to go to one of two Publixs in town. I’m sorry I don’t know which ones they were, but wife said the process at Publix was very easy.

I was able to get my renewals done on my phone last night thru the My Florida for FLHSMV app with no problems. I’ve used it a few times now for registration renewals and I find it to be quick and easy.

Thank you! I tried on my phone and it wouldnt let me, but this morning I tried on the home computer and it did work! Yay! And thank you ! This saved me a trip! (I also did as the site suggested and printed my email receipt to keep in the car until I receive my actual paperwork)

Wait until you forget about one and have to go in person or get a title for a vehicle. I have a trailer tag that's like 1 year expired.
Nightmare since covid.
If that happens to anyone.. Go to Jefferson county. They don't require appointments and generally it's very quiet there. Nice drive too.

I had to renew in person because my tag was a few years expired. Made an appointment online, took a total of 30 minutes or so.

My husband just had the same issue, he ended up renewing at a Publix kiosk and it was super easy. It took about 5 minutes.
