Non-SaaS uses for App Connectors

I have a University VPN. And instead of running the OpenVPN client on each machine, started running it on one and designated it an app connector for the internal domains. Seems to work well so far.

There's definitely other ways to set this up, but this was just so easy and convenient. I'm happy with it.

Have y'all got any other more personal uses for App Connectors? Most of the examples aren't things I'd use for a while.
