https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Survivorman_episodes
I’ve been going through all the directors commentaries and using this list to go in order. The survivor man and son episodes are listed in season five and also in season eight. Does anyone know why?

I find it fascinating, I have never even camped nor do I have any desire to do so, but I love watching survivorman and the director’s commentary!
Am I part of only a few or does this show generally appeal to both outdoor adventurers and non as well?

Ever since I was younger I’ve always loved this episode. It’s so unique. To subject yourself to literally floating in a LEAKING raft in the middle of an ocean with a not working 2 way radio is pure balls man. I still to this day can’t believe he took that risk. Unreal.
Does anyone else have a special attachment to this episode? I was so excited when I found the director’s commentaries. I immediately searched for this episode.
Hoping someone will see this. It’s quiet in here.

I'm sure you all know he has stated he would make new episodes at 1 million subs. I'm curious what you guys think about that, as as far as i know it has been a few years since those statements.
At the pace his channel is growing, it won't hit 1 million until 2027. Im wondering if he will stay true to his word after so long, and how it would work.
He has stated "in any event once I hit 1 million subs I will be in a position to make some NEW Survivorman episodes!", so i'm hopeful. I'm also curious what exactly that implies, does he need that many for executives to pick it back up or something...idk?

Random question.. I see the show is finally back on prime but is it me or does the quality not the same like it was in the past .. I could sworn season 1 didn’t looked this low quality even on YouTube it don’t seem like 1080p maybe it’s just my imagination

I have a monumental amount of respect for this man. So composed, stoic, intelligent, centered, calm, determined, optimistic, innovative, resilient, rugged, reflective, self deprecating when appropriate. Why is this sub dead?

Hi I am A first time Survivorman watcher and I get very anxious when i see others throw up no matter the circumstance and I know this show is risky for wither or not he gets sick but i was just wondering if there was anything that I would need to be cautious about.
Thank you and I'm Sorry if this is a weird question,
New Survivorman Fan.
