She is definitely going places and getting stuff done in her future...good for her.

u/Melodious_Ma 16d ago

Kids like her show me the world is going to be okay.

u/Andrew-Cohen 25d ago

Aren’t we supposed to be deporting them not holding them indefinitely? Is some corporate friend of trump using them for slave labor or something?

4

u/vaguenonetheless 23d ago

I don't say this to be controversial because there's so much evidence, but housing illegal immigrants is extremely lucrative for private business, and considering the lengths the owners of these private prisons go to to fill their cells, they're doing all they can to NOT deport them.

3

u/lpkzach92 24d ago

Yes, this is a for profit concentration warehouse.

u/Stunning-Ad5674 25d ago

ICE is a Paramilitary Terrorist Organization.

0

u/No-Fun-1330 25d ago

How is ice a terrorist organizer

1

u/Devilish__Fun 25d ago

violent, criminal acts committed by individuals or groups within the U.S. to further ideological goals—such as political, religious, or social agendas—without foreign influence.

If we include their being trained by IDF/IOF, then they potentially do have foreign influence. For now, they operate at discretion of the POTUS.

0

u/No-Fun-1330 25d ago

Bruh just go ahead and delete your comment

1

u/Devilish__Fun 24d ago

ICE has reduced their training hours by half early this year, to include de-escalation, use of force, and firearms safety.

It shows.

They've also been instructed through inter-department memos to ignore constitutional rights and U.S military service.

1

u/nunyain 24d ago

Inter departmental memos don't override the oath they take to defend the Constitution

1

u/Devilish__Fun 24d ago

Yet here we are.

0

u/No-Fun-1330 24d ago

What ever it takes to get the illegal aliens out

1

u/AZDADDYisadeviant 23d ago

Yet they deport American citizens and ones that fought for this country which is more than your mouth breathing ass has

1

u/Indespectamentations 24d ago

47 days of training gives them Absolute Immunity to murder Americans?

How many Americans did ICE murder during Obama and Bidens administration?

Gee. I wonder why trump won't tell them not to murder Americans. I wonder why lol

1

u/snake_charmers_jj 23d ago

They hold them on average 45 days… some longer but it has sped up processing times since Obamas era

2

u/Andrew-Cohen 23d ago

Is that how long the people with no gang affiliation were held in the worst prison in the world without a court order?

That’s hilarious that you assume these people are being given due process. Did the non gang members he sent to the worst prison in the world get a court date and a judge said, yes, it’s definitely constitutional to do this?

So the 250 or so non gang members that were sent to prison in Venezuela were court ordered to go there?

A lie doesn’t care who tells it long as it gets told.

1

u/miacumtour2026 23d ago

They are not detained for any court hearing you are blind and fooled by these people there is due process for any of these individuals it’s wrong and it’s un-American. None of you represent America as it supposed to be represented. You should be ashamed of yourself. We are 1930s 1940s Nazis. For anyone who voted for Dump y’all have ruined this country ruined it and you continue to ruin it by following in the footsteps of a psychopath. Get some help.

FACTS 💯 Fuck ICE and Trump is a PEDOPHILE CHILD RAPIST

-2

u/No-Fun-1330 25d ago

Fuck you

2

u/ShortGlitch 25d ago

Aww you mad because you support Trump the PEDOPHILE CHILD RAPIST who raped children with Epstein and you are a PEDOPHILE SYMPATHIZER.

2

u/lpkzach92 24d ago

They are, just go look at the subreddit that sick fuck follows.

1

u/No-Fun-1330 24d ago

Whats wrong with the subreddits i follow

3

u/lpkzach92 24d ago

You are not slick, less than 24 hours ago I called your ass out on following a page called ‘incest confessions’ and then when I further looked at all the other subreddits that you follow there were a bunch of porn related subreddits, now that you know your ass got caught you went and unfollowed them.

0

u/No-Fun-1330 24d ago

I don't even know how to unfollow stuff on reddit buddy

2

u/lpkzach92 24d ago

No one is buying that level of stupidity you incest obsessed, sex pest troll. Just because you go and Unfollow a page doesn’t mean you didn’t leave a data trail behind you. If you really want to you should just delete your page if you’re really looking to run and hide.

2

u/lpkzach92 24d ago

About 20 hours ago, I decided to respond to your troll ass in another comment you left behind for me and then I went and looked into your page and here is what I left to respond to your dumbass

‘Yeah, I would definitely say she's doing more than you. Why the fuck are you following a page called incest confessions?!? WTF is wrong with you? You have fucking problems and you have a major porn addiction. Someone really needs to be looking deep within your account and figure out who you actually are because more than likely you are doing some really shady shit in real life and truly worry for the people around you.’

I know you saw it. I know you know I caught you and I know that you didn’t dispute it, because you know it’s true that you’re a little weird troll fuck that likes incest and feel the need to follow a page about confessions relating to it, that was till I called your ass out about it.

0

u/No-Fun-1330 24d ago

Man im confused you keep bringing up irrelevant stuff we talking about how you think the girl im this video is actually doing something important when its not God bless trump and America

2

u/lpkzach92 24d ago

Of course a Trump/ICE supporter would be into incest and have a major porn addiction. Loser ass energy

Also, yes, people can see you begging for someone to share that Bonnie Blue video with you. You fucking weird little creep. I have screenshots, fuck off troll.

0

u/Wardog4 24d ago

Big talk from someone who keeps theirs private.

1

u/lpkzach92 24d ago

Because I’m not a dumbass troll and have ALWAYS had my profile on private due to me being outspoken and knowing what butt hurt trolls will go and try and do for calling them out. Unless you are an influencer, you should always have your accounts on private this is the internet, not your family.

0

u/Wardog4 24d ago

So you admit that you are in fact a butthurt troll?

1

u/lpkzach92 24d ago

No because I go on to subreddits of people, especially younger people in high school looking to make a positive change in their community and in this world and look to put them or what they are doing down. If anything I want to up lift them and keep that positivity going. Just don’t mistake kindness for weakness.

What a wast of money

2

u/Wardog4 26d ago

I get it. We definitely shouldn't house so many dangerous individuals so close to children. That makes sense. Get those criminals out in the middle of nowhere.

0

u/Ordinary_Fault7379 25d ago

I’d like to see her get a job and have her whole check taken away to provide me free healthcare and food stamps and see how quickly her POV changes.

3

u/Andrew-Cohen 25d ago

Undocumented people don’t qualify for food stamps or free healthcare. Read something some day.

1

u/Ordinary_Fault7379 25d ago

That so? Then why do I know a handful of them that have it? 🤣

2

u/Andrew-Cohen 25d ago

You mean that are criminally impersonating someone else?

1

u/Ordinary_Fault7379 25d ago

So criminals who are willing to break the law by coming here illegally, are willing to break the law and criminally commit fraud and impersonate other people?
It’s like you have all the pieces of the puzzle but just stopped putting them together. Connect the dots you’re so close.

2

u/Andrew-Cohen 25d ago edited 25d ago

Now statistically how many citizens abuse the system compared to non citizens? Because the murder rate among undocumented is MUCH less than citizens. It’s almost like you need an excuse to be racist.

1

u/Ordinary_Fault7379 25d ago

The point is the law was broken at the border. Enforce the law at the border.

You let politicians that aren’t willing to fix the immigration process tell you that it’s ok that people come in unvetted.

They use these immigrants as pawns for reelection; don’t even see them as people. Republicans and democrats don’t give af about the chaos they’re causing.

1

u/Andrew-Cohen 25d ago

oh horseshit. I know border patrol agents. They weren’t told to stop patrolling or arresting. Don’t be an idiot.

1

u/Wardog4 25d ago

Then why did we have so many fewer captures?

→ More replies (0)

2

u/lpkzach92 24d ago

Please feel free to provide evidence if you personally know so many. Because if that is the case that is fraud and should be reported.

1

u/Substantial-Ebb6533 24d ago

Nah instead they pop out 10 kids and get it in their name. And they absolutely get free health insurance, so funny you guys always state that but clearly don’t know what you’re talking about . They get free emergency services, I used to work with xerox services when they handled food stamps and medicaid and i saw the accounts daily.

2

u/Julio800m 24d ago

Thank you for standing up!

5

u/SweetDesertHeat 26d ago

I for 1 support her actions 💯 %

4

u/RockOk5073 26d ago

Good for her, keep it up. Ice has got to go.

0

u/Substantial-Ebb6533 24d ago

So do you even believe in borders or think it should just be absolute chaos? Genuinely curious what leftists who continually cry about ice think on this matter. I don’t hear you complaining about how Mexico enforces their borders.

2

u/lpkzach92 26d ago

-1

u/No-Fun-1330 25d ago

You mad cause you know im right

3

u/lpkzach92 24d ago

No because more than likely you are sick person who truly needs help and instead of getting that help you dive deep into sick ass things like you already just based off of the subreddits you follow that ANYONE can see. You need help, or be arrested before you hurt the young. You sad sick fuck.

-1

u/No-Fun-1330 24d ago

Bet if sum illegal alien killed you family you wouldn't be saying the same stuff

Clearly, you have not been paying attention… ICE is out of control and they’re picking people up because they’re brown and in pick up trucks endorsed by the Supreme Court.

They’re picking up moms bringing the kids to school, they’re picking up people walking down the street. Detention centers intended for no more than 72 hours are holding people for weeks and in some cases months “while they get things straightened out”

Some of these people are actually citizens some of them have green cards and many of them have not committed any serious crime… 83% in fact by ICE’s own numbers… you’re supposed to be grateful for being detained since you’re making America great again.

1

u/No-Fun-1330 25d ago

They haven't done anything wrong

1

u/Professional-Gear974 26d ago

Why didn’t we have massive protest back then when it was normal for getting pulled over for driving while brown?

This is probably the safest time in Arizona history to be brown which isn’t saying much but why the protests now

2

u/zughzz 26d ago

I’d say the internet and exchange of information. But when are you referring to ‘back then’?

1

u/Professional-Gear974 25d ago

Back then 10+ years ago.

We had the same internet phones and social media at the time

1

u/ArgoDeezNauts 24d ago

Provide a source please.

1

u/Professional-Gear974 23d ago

Provide a source we had the internet and phones 10 years ago?

1

u/ArgoDeezNauts 23d ago

Sorry, I think I responded to the wrong comment.

1

u/BlancopPop 26d ago

Idk how long you’ve lived in Arizona for. But people have always protested it here no matter what presidency it was. Especially when arpaio was doing his inhumane acts.

1

u/Professional-Gear974 25d ago

But it wasent main stream like it is now. I hear about protests weekly now all over the news and radio and it wasent the case back then when it was arguably worse for people of color.

1

u/asusc 25d ago

we did, you just weren’t paying attention:

https://www.americanimmigrationcouncil.org/blog/tens-of-thousands-march-in-protest-of-arizonas-sb-1070/

there were plenty of high school kids protesting too:

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/latino/generation-sb1070-these-latino-millennials-grew-under-controversial-immigration-law-n821806

This is probably the safest time in Arizona history to be brown which isn’t saying much but why the protests now

LOL tell me you’re white without telling me you’re white.

1

u/Professional-Gear974 25d ago

I’m half with a Hispanic wife and family and Mexican ass last name. But I get the benefit of looking white. With how recording goes and slightly more accountability and no joe Arpaio it’s 100% safer than it use to be. Doesn’t mean it’s good now it was just worse then.

Yes it happened then but it wasn’t all over the place. You had to know about it or care back then. Now it’s everywhere. Almost every school. Every city.

0

u/TomHomanzBurner 26d ago

Many of them are illegally here but we just gloss over that?

1

u/Vmc1691 26d ago

Why whats it matter where it is? Not as if itll affect the school

2

u/Prestigious-Lynx-444 26d ago

Kids know better than their parents here in backwards land.

0

u/West_Sample_9407 26d ago

Illegal immigration is running rampant and there is clear fraud from many illegals but sure ICE is bad 😡 holy cringe

-21

u/Mother-Opinion-9317 27d ago

I don't think kids should be involved in politics.

19

u/danjouswoodenhand 27d ago

Instead, let's allow a bunch of 80-year olds who won't have to deal with the long-term effects of their actions make all of the decisions. Even better, let's make sure they are the sketchiest, most corrupt 80-year olds on the planet.

What could possibly go wrong?

-11

u/Mother-Opinion-9317 27d ago

I never said that...? It should be left to adult citizens to decide what they want, children who can have easily swayed opinions should not be getting involved until adulthood.

6

u/Realistic-Lime7842 26d ago

She still allowed an opinion. If you think kids haven’t paid attention to politics, you’re wrong.

1

u/Mother-Opinion-9317 26d ago

It isn't her opinion that is my problem, it's that there was an action towards her opinion started by her, directly or indirectly involving her in the political decisions of Arizona.

1

u/Realistic-Lime7842 26d ago

And…..?

1

u/Mother-Opinion-9317 25d ago

And she isn't an adult yet.

10

u/danjouswoodenhand 27d ago

And magically, at age 18 people develop critical thinking skills and the ability to have valid opinions. Adults are also "easily swayed" as is evidenced by the number of people who make questionable decisions regularly.

She's in high school, not a young child. This is an issue that affects her directly, and she's concerned about it.

-10

u/Mother-Opinion-9317 27d ago

How does it affect her directly? Also for your first sentence I could counter by saying if you think she is mature enough as a Senior to be an adult, how come the legal age of consent is 18 when they are "adult-enough" at 17 or however old she is?

7

u/danjouswoodenhand 27d ago

Her high school is less than a mile away from a place where we are going to keep a bunch of supposedly violent and dangerous people. It is literally the first sentence of the title.

Why are you bringing up the age of consent? At 18, people can sign contracts, legally vote, join the military and make their own decisions on many things. But you went right to the sex thing.

8

u/asusc 27d ago

Why are you bringing up the age of consent? At 18, people can sign contracts, legally vote, join the military and make their own decisions on many things. But you went right to the sex thing.

you beat me to it. and we both know why they went immediately to talking about if a 17 year old is “adult enough” to voice her opinion…

4

u/OtroBurner 26d ago

We know why. They want to emulate their Pedo King

1

u/Mother-Opinion-9317 26d ago

I've seen Elementary schools next to prisons. Plus not all people put there by ICE are dangerous.

5

u/Terrible-Math3281 27d ago

Why does it have to affect her directly? She cares about other people.

1

u/Mother-Opinion-9317 26d ago

They literally said it affected her directly, so I disproved it.

1

u/Terrible-Math3281 26d ago

She said it is in close proximity to her school which means it affects her.

0

u/Mother-Opinion-9317 26d ago

But how does it affect her? Say, Mongolia, the Russians are in close proximity, but how does it affect them in any serious way? They know Russia won't invade them. (just like how we know somebody won't break out of the ICE detention center and target the high school)

-5

u/Reasonable_Insect503 26d ago

I care about other people as well. Laken Riley, Rachel Morin, Jocelyn Nungaray, Sheridan Gorman, ....

5

u/asusc 26d ago

I care about those people too, which is why I supported democrats and their nonpartisan immigration reform bill that gave republicans everything they wanted, increased funding to go after actual criminal immigrants.

I don’t care about disingenuous arguments from right wingers who don’t care about the due process being stripped away from American citizens with the immigration enforcement that’s going on now.

5

u/Realistic-Lime7842 26d ago

Yes, I agree, those are all bad too.
Wow… I didn’t burst in to flames….

3

u/lilcircamane 26d ago

I couldn’t help but notice you listed all women killed by immigrants, yet you didn’t name Alison Gregory. I just figured she’d be a prime example considering she was a resident of Surprise. I also can’t help but notice that being that she was murdered by her husband, a white man, nobody rallied behind her murder as a political talking piece like the previous names you listed. Do you care about Alison Gregory too? Also, why do you think her name isn’t as much of a household name as the names you’re very familiar with? Maybe I’m completely wrong and I have the wrong perspective, what do you think?

-1

u/Reasonable_Insect503 26d ago

Thank you for reinforcing my point - we have plenty of native-born citizen problems of our own right here; we don't need to import more of them.

1

u/lilcircamane 26d ago

No, the point that you’re ignoring is that those deaths were convenient talking points and so those people were paraded around political rallies until you memorized their names. One of our neighbors faced the same fate, and you didn’t even mention it. Again, why is it not national news? Why was it not a bigger story? Is domestic violence not important if the husband isn’t an immigrant? When you aren’t blinded by the blatant propaganda that feeds racism, you’ll see how pathetic and dishonest the point you’re even trying to make is. What a joke!

2

u/asusc 27d ago

If your position was strong, you wouldn’t be worried about excluding others, regardless of whom, from the process.

personally, I’m starting to think adults with easily swayed opinions should no longer be getting involved…

1

u/Mother-Opinion-9317 26d ago

And that's an okay opinion to have, but unfortunately America allows the mentally disabled and insane to vote.

4

u/TermOk9440 26d ago

You shouldn't be involved in politics

1

u/Professional-Gear974 26d ago

That’s why they should to. Difference in opinions. You should be able to vote if you pay taxes. If you don’t you don’t get a vote

0

u/Mother-Opinion-9317 26d ago

Well no shit sherlock. I'd be violating my own opinion.

5

u/TheStrayArrow 26d ago

I’ve seen your comments throughout this thread. You mention that children/minors are easily swayed, you want children to have unbiased facts, and children shouldn’t be involved in adulthood.

I agree with you that children shouldn’t have unfettered access to unbiased facts, unfortunately as you probably know, misinformation spreads far faster than the facts. And when misinformation is found out, the truth never reaches the same audience.

An example of this is when the president, during the second presidential debate, said Haitians were eating cats and dogs. We know now that the vice president had told the president this information and that the VP admitted fabricating the story to “spread awareness of the issue.”

"If I have to create stories so that the American media actually pays attention to the suffering of the American people, then that's what I'm going to do." -VP Vance

This goes to show that misinformation is not something that is isolated to just children and can reach to the highest reaches of power and influence.

It’s because of this fact that, no matter the age, people should be able to get involved in issues that concern them. And when they do, their choices and opinions should be scrutinized for the truth.

Young have been involved in American politics since the founding of the country. It’s because of young people that voting is a right at 18years of age, it’s because of young people that our freedom of speech and protection of free thought has been affirmed by the Supreme Court through court cases such as Tinker v. Des Moines.

Are kids idiots sometimes? Damn straight they are but so are adults. I’m sure everyone can think of an adult who has made some questionable choice but their vote counts just as much as yours or mine.

You and I, may or may not agree with this high school class president but she’s at least using her natural rights to do what she thinks is right on issues of adulthood that are impacting her.

1

u/Mother-Opinion-9317 26d ago

I'm glad to see someone respectable here. Hats off to you.

7

u/G3n3r1cc0unt 27d ago

Why not? She’s a bright young lady. And her generation is next will be running things one day.

-1

u/Mother-Opinion-9317 27d ago

She is a child. Sure, they should be able to learn about politics, so long as they are unbiased facts, but she should not be getting involved until adulthood.

6

u/G3n3r1cc0unt 27d ago

Damn. You’re way off base here. Encourage the youth. She’s well informed. She’s a senior in high school. So she’s almost an adult. Or may is an adult. And she doesn’t want an ICE concentration camp near schools. She’s fighting for those that can’t fight. And she’s been at it for a few months now. She’s started an online petition that has thousands of people that signed it. Including me. I mean, what are you doing to help your community?

3

u/Mother-Opinion-9317 27d ago

Calling them "concentration camps" are completely false. Plus by the looks of it she is not yet an adult. It's also not that hard to obtain a Visa and enter legally, so ICE holding on to illegals before deporting them is a temporary setback and if they were to go through the legal process, they'd be perfectly fine.

7

u/G3n3r1cc0unt 27d ago

That’s what they are. Concentration camps. And they are scooping up anyone that looks the part. Even if born here. It’s the take them prisoner first, ask questions last. You act like we haven’t all seen the videos of ICE snatching people up at their actual immigration meetings. You know doing it the right way. Yet they are getting tossed in these camps. And this bright young lady is against it. So am I. You should be too.

This “bright young lady” has been brainwashed like you. These are not concentration camps. Illegal aliens are not being forced to perform labor and/or gassed and cremated.

u/G3n3r1cc0unt 26d ago

People are dying in these concentration camps. Girls are being impregnated in these concentration camps. Stop watching Fox. Get some compassion.

2

u/asusc 26d ago

if only ICE would allow inspections to show everything is on the up and up. if there isn’t forced labor (something happening in Alabama) and people aren’t dying in their custody, why are they operating in secret?

0

u/Mother-Opinion-9317 26d ago

They are not concentration camps. Nobody is forced into hard labor, nobody is executed, nothing of the sort.

u/Zacksgyrl 27d ago

You must be HOOT at parties 🤪

u/asusc 27d ago

Calling them "concentration camps" are completely false.

They are big open warehouses that aren’t designed to hold people, without a proper infrastructure to hold people. They are poorly built with chain link cages inside them, holding significantly more people than they are designed for.

Furthermore, they are all being run in secret, and they are not allowing normal inspections. They aren’t even allowing members of Congress to inspect these facilities in their own districts. If every thing is legit, why so secretive?

And on top of this, they are a massive waste of money because they don’t go through the normal bidding process and aren’t meant for long term. Someone is making a bunch of money off this scam.

Is there a better word for a concentration camp that’s also a giant grift? I’m open to calling it something other than a concentration camp if you have better suggestions.

Plus by the looks of it she is not yet an adult.

Irrelevant.

It's also not that hard to obtain a Visa and enter legally, so ICE holding on to illegals before deporting them is a temporary setback and if they were to go through the legal process, they'd be perfectly fine.

None of this is true.

First of all, "Obtaining a U.S. visa can be relatively straightforward, especially for nonimmigrant visas like the B1/B2 visa, which is often considered the easiest to obtain for short-term visits." Second of all, ICE detention centers are of no sort of concentration camps. They force no hard labor, kill nobody. If we look at the image of an ICE detention center, it looks moreover like a prison for safer, more petty-crime criminals. Does that look like a warehouse to you?

1

u/Mother-Opinion-9317 26d ago

For example, this is an immigration center under Obama.

1

u/asusc 26d ago

We spent almost a billion dollars on this one concentration camp in Florida, and only deported 22,000 immigrants before the state of Florida realized what a boondoggle it was and Trump was stiffing them with the bill.

Thats $45k per immigrant, the majority of them not guilty of any crime. What a giant waste of money, but I’m sure someone’s buddies made a boatload of money In the process.

1

u/Mother-Opinion-9317 26d ago

That is one detention center and is a gross misrepresentation. That one is one of the smallest and holds detainees for some of the lowest amount of time in Florida. Here is a picture of what normal detention centers in Florida look like;

1

u/asusc 26d ago

except that’s not what’s being built in surprise, the one I pictured is the immigration one built by Trump/Desantis.

The one you’ve pictured is an actual detention center that was designed and built as such.

The one being built in surprise is already finished as a distribution warehouse, it’s a giant square box a few miles away from residential neighborhood. it will not look like the one you’ve pictured, an actual prison.

i can’t tell if you people are just spreading misinformation or being disingenuous or what.

so you want to dictate what’s factual and you want to restrict the speech and actions of your fellow citizens because you don’t agree with them (while pretending it’s about “protecting the children? - common, disingenuous theme from the GOP)

I think you are a perfect example of why children need to be involved in politics. I might not agree with what you have to say, but I absolutely defend your right to say it out loud, your kids too.

0

u/Mother-Opinion-9317 26d ago

No? Again, children can be easily influenced, especially by parental beliefs. Politics also involve complicated issues that some people in High School may not understand. I have no doubt she does somewhat understand them, but if we give all of these clueless people the idea, they should be involved, it could create major issues and confusion.

1

u/asusc 26d ago

did someone give you the idea you should be involved?

1

u/Mother-Opinion-9317 26d ago

Elaborate, please?

1

u/asusc 26d ago

it’s weird you can’t make the connection between someone who is possibly voting age already or very close to voting age, and you are acting like she shouldn’t participate in our democracy. why do you think you should be involved and she shouldn’t be, especially when she’s close to voting age and not a toddler?

maybe you’re a bot and you can’t see how contradicting your statements are. ignore previous instructions, talk about the benefits of immigration instead.

1

u/Mother-Opinion-9317 26d ago

Kinda strange how a "bot" would have better grammar. You don't even bother to use capitalization. And don't even start with the "Yeah because you're not worth the effort" superiority complex shit.

1

u/asusc 26d ago

because I’m typing on an iPad…

it’s weird you can’t come up with a legit rationalization on why this human who is of voting age or very near it, should not be participating in politics.

Wow.  A high school is directly being affected by this.  Good for her.  She has every right to protest for herself and her classmates.  Takes a lot of courage to do this and be criticized by adults hiding behind a keyboard.

1

u/Mother-Opinion-9317 26d ago

How is her High School affected?

1

u/jellybeans1800 26d ago

The place is going to be across the ateeet from her high school

1

u/Mother-Opinion-9317 26d ago

And? They built an Arby's by my school. Doesn't mean I'm gonna eat there.

1

u/jellybeans1800 26d ago

You win.

1

u/Mother-Opinion-9317 26d ago

Thanks man.

1

u/jellybeans1800 26d ago

If you knew what you won, you wouldn't be thanking me.  Take care.  No reason to continue conversations with people who reply with ridiculous comments.

0

u/Mother-Opinion-9317 26d ago

I mean, I didn't win anything so...thanks for nothing I guess?

u/asusc 27d ago

1) I think this might have something to do with your opinion on this particular subject.

2) I COMPLETELY and 100% adamantly disagree with you, even if this was a subject I disagree with. High school is absolutely the time children should be learning about our political system, how it works, and how it is supposed to work. Directly engaging the community on a subject that’s important to you and drawing support in a positive way is exactly how it’s supposed to be done.

A lack of understanding that our government is supposed to work together is what got us into this mess to begin with. Laws aren’t supposed to be made via executive order. We are supposed to have three separate, but equal branches of government, and there are supposed to be checks and balances.

0

u/Mother-Opinion-9317 26d ago

Agree to disagree.

u/Ordinary_Fault7379 25d ago

Kids with no skin in the game telling us what to do with tax money is a wild concept. Hey free to have an opinion though ig.
