Recommendations Barbershop recommendations?

I’ve been going to seventy’s seven but I’m not too big on how they do my beard, does anyone know of a barbershop that does well with long(ish) beards?

Honestly I’m not super sure, I don’t cut my hair often and I’ve only been twice so far. The last time I went my barber was a woman and the time before that a man but that’s about all I can tell you tbh, they both killed it with the hair on my head though! Maybe I’ll try to request one of the barbers you suggested, thank you!

It’s not exactly in surprise there is one in Goodyear and a new one in buckeye, but gentlemen’s chambers is the best barber I have been to out here. Jose over in the new buckeye location is my go to.

Yeah I hear you. A lot of regular barbershops are great with fades but not with longer beards, and that’s where things start going wrong. Once your beard has some length, it really needs someone who knows how to shape it without taking too much off.

What usually fixes it isn’t the shop name, it’s the specific barber. You want someone who actually shows long beard work, not just clean fades. If they’re mostly using clippers and trying to “clean it up,” that’s when people lose all their growth.

When you sit down, be really clear that you want to keep the length and just shape it. If they start going shorter than you expected, say something right away. That alone saves a lot of bad trims.

I went through the same thing bouncing around shops until I found someone who consistently handled beards right. I ended up finding mine through TheCut barber app since you can actually see their beard work before booking, which makes a big difference.

Once you find that one barber who gets your beard, it stops being a gamble every time you go in.
