please help

I have different problems with my Surface Laptop Studio (2 I think):

  1. It won't charge, it only works while plugged in and the battery indicator is stuck at 0%. as soon as the charger disconnects it shuts down.
  2. It shuts down at random moments without any kind of warning (it's not related to #1, for a split second you can see on screen the "shutting down" text). When it starts everything is as it was, I don't loose any of my work or anything, so it doesn't seem like it shuts down completely. It's like somewhere in between fully shut down and stand-by
  3. It takes several attempts to start back up. I press the "on" button and the microsoft logo pops up for a few seconds or minutes before the screen goes back to black

The battery is dead maybe look at ifixt or somewhere for a new one.

Maybe the plug isn't able to always supply all the power needed and it decides to Hibernate or the laptop thinks that it's about to loose power. Not sure if the plug is original? Not sure if you are able to turn of something in bios to lower processer peak power draw probably not but might be something like turning off hyperthreading or something.

Maybe put the device at a lower plugged in power mode or lowest one until you fix the battery.
