VIDEO "Damn son where'd you find this???"
Does anyone have any idea how $uicideboy$ and/or $crim for his solo stuff are able to use the visuals for their lyric videos?? They're so fire but a lot of them are from movies/documentaries so how are they avoiding copyright infringement? Do they just not care? No way they're clearing hundreds upon hundreds of clips.

archive.org you can find a ton of old films and documentaries and you can also add a filter to find only public domain stuff.

no prob fam, as for the copyright. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the footage is protected and they just use it anyway. Without the original audio, Youtube can't really detect it. If you only use a few seconds with effects on top of it and it's an obscure film or docu, I doubt it will get a copyright strike. It's just like those channels that make anime music videos, I doubt they get copyright strikes for using anime scenes.

the person that makes lyric videos is @junkie__archive on ig, he gets them from old short films, movies, and videos on the internet archive
