Discussion I've never really worked on a website before but after HiAnime shut down I got some motivation to try to make my own site and after a round two weeks of work the site seems to be fully functional. I want you guys to feel free to try it out and let me know what you think.

The site has sub, dub Support.

Extensive anime support. One piece, bleach, hunter, x hunter, etc.

Intro and outro Auto skip.

display calibration setting, like you can change your brightness, saturation. A night light that makes your screen warmer only applies on the specific anime like video screen you're watching.

Has a total watch time spent on that tracks how many minutes, hours, etc. you spent watching specific shows on the site. Sticks with your account.

Continue watching tab. Trending now popular this season.

And a fully functioning simple sign in and sign out account system with no email required, just a username and password. I recommend just using a throwaway. (Note. You do not need to make an account to use the site, feel free to use guest, although if you close the site, it will clear the cookies and will no longer save whatever you were watching previously.)

Although the current Watch Party and Comment system is just a placeholder, I need to fix it. Not currently functioning. I'm not trying to self-advertise in any way. The site can probably only handle maybe 15 people at the most and then it will crash.

Feel free to try it out here. https://watchyoru.uk/

If you come across any issues or bugs, please let me know and I'll try my best to fix them.

Discussion I built an all-in-one tracker for anime, manga & movies—lists, rankings, and sharing your taste

Hey everyone,

Over the years I've ended up using different platforms for different hobbies—one for anime, another for manga, and another for movies. While each platform does its job well, I always wished there was a single place where I could keep track of everything I enjoy and represent my overall taste.

So I started building my own solution.

It's an all-in-one tracker for anime, manga, and movies where you can create lists, rank your favorites, and build a profile that reflects your personal taste. The idea isn't just to keep track of what you've watched or read, but also to make it easier to discover people with similar interests and find new recommendations through shared preferences.

Current features include:

  • Tracking anime, manga, and movies
  • Creating custom lists
  • Ranking favorites
  • Public profiles and taste sharing
  • Discovering new content through community activity

The project is still actively being developed, and I'm looking for honest feedback. I'd love to know what works, what doesn't, and what features you'd expect from a platform like this.

Question Anikoto website is good for anime watching?

Need help Help is needed

I need some website to watch animes and the website should have these options

Option to change the quality

Sub and dub available

A complete watch order list showing all seasons, movies, OVAs, ONAs, prequels, sequels, and specials in the proper order

And if possible an option to sync with anilist

Morden ui

I have tried numerous websites, but most lack the specific features I need. Having a manual quality toggle is an absolute requirement for me. While '1 Anime' offered this, the site is unfortunately down at the moment.

Developer Post Just finished building the first version of AniXo Global Live Chat.

Post image

Over the last few days I've been working on a completely new Global Live Chat system for AniXo, and the first version is now up and running.

This isn't a traditional comment section that requires refreshing the page every few seconds. The entire system runs on Socket.io, which means messages are delivered instantly between users in real time.

To keep things scalable, the chat runs on its own dedicated microservice instead of sharing resources with the main backend. This allows the chat system to handle its own traffic without affecting the rest of the website.

Current Features:

✅ Real-time messaging with no page refresh

✅ Dedicated chat backend (separate service)

Socket.io powered instant message delivery

✅ Login required for sending messages

✅ Guests can still read the chat live

✅ JWT authentication for message verification

✅ Clickable user profiles directly from chat

✅ Automatic smooth scrolling to new messages

✅ Message length limits to reduce spam

✅ Last 100 active messages load automatically

✅ Live connection status indicator

✅ Messages automatically disappear after 15 minutes

One feature I personally like is the temporary message system. Messages aren't stored forever. After 15 minutes they automatically get removed using TTL indexes, which helps keep storage usage under control while keeping the chat active and clean.

The UI also differentiates between your messages and other users' messages, making conversations much easier to follow during busy discussions.

This is only the first version. There are still things I want to improve, optimize, and expand, but the foundation is finally working.

Would love to hear what features you'd like to see added next.

Need help Any sites with functional auto skip?

Ive been trying to find a replacement for hianime, but none of the sites ive tried have all the features im looking for.

Most common one I see missing is auto skip, either the button doesnt exist or if it does it doesn't actually auto skip , it just pops up a skip intro button every episode I have to manually click.

Are there any sites left with actual auto skip?

Discussion Serious fight against piracy

Is it me or is piracy starting to get harder than it has been for years?

Recently, I've been trying to find new sites to stream, and a lot of sites have been recommended to me, but the majority of them haven't been working even after refreshing the webpage. It says something like bad connection. I find some, but a lot of them are a significant downgrade from animekai. Of course, sites coming and going aren't anything new. Even before animekai, there have been a lot of good sites I used before they were taken down. And I know everyone thinks that for one site taken down, 20 more pop up. But I'm going to be real, it doesn't feel that way this time. Even the studio behind one Piece is asking the government to help fight against piracy. Crunchyroll and disney, from what I briefly saw, have been asked to help fight piracy. It seems a lot of big players are fighting harder against piracy. What do u guys think?

Question Is Anikoto still worth using?

Reason I'm asking is because the site hasn't updated the dub for a few anime I've been keeping up with, despite the sub being a few episodes ahead.

I'm not sure if the dubbing team for multiple anime just happen to be behind on things, or if Anikoto is bugged and not worth using.
