Question Restaurants in Stockholm for 60th birthday
Hey all! Our family is traveling to Stockholm to celebrate my mom's 60th birthday. I am looking for nice restaurants where we could celebrate my mom :) The budget is around 1000 SEK per person for food and ideally I would like to find somewhere with a tasting menu, but understand that it is a bit hard with our budget. So far I have looked into Indio Kitchen, Bar Nombre and The fifth exhibition at Fotografiska Stockholm, all of which have tasting menus for a nice price, but I would like to explore other options as well.
My mom does not normally eat red meat, but at restaurants she sometimes tries it. So our preference would be for a menu with chicken, fish and/or vegetarian dishes but there can be red meat too, it's not a hard limit.
Thank you so much for any tips and help!

Question I am coming to Stockholm for the first time, any tips and tricks?
What would be the best way for me to go from Arlanda airport to Hammarby Sjöstad at evening around 7PM during workday? Über, public transport?
Do I need to bring Svensk krona with me or is it okay that I only have my credit card with me?
Would it be easy for me to come and get a SIM card and to pay for the internet (mobile data)? My phone doesn't support eSim unfortunately.
Any other heads up I should know about?
And is there something you would recommend me to do, see or eat, any just dos?
Thanks!

Question What’s the deal with Bob W?
Hey 👋🏽 I’m planning a visit in January and looking at staying at one of the Bob W apartment hotels.
They look perfect but half the reviews are terrifyingly bad. It’s odd that it’s 50:50. It’s usually all bad or just a few idiots being overly critical.
What’s the deal? Has anyone stayed at these and can explain a bit?

Question Thinking of visiting Eric in Stockholm (Hotel Grand Stade) - Advice needed.
Hi everyone,
My name is Michal, 40-year-old guy from the Czech Republic here. I’m thinking about heading to Stockholm in May for Eric Prydz's event. I’m a huge fan of his music, and since I also love Scandinavia, Stockholm has been on my bucket list for a while now.
My plan is to make a longer weekend out of it (arriving Thursday, leaving Sunday). I have a few questions for the locals or those familiar with the city:
Accommodation: Any recommendations on which areas to look into? I prefer hotels or Airbnb.
Drink prices: Roughly how much should I expect to pay for drinks at an event like this?
Budget: My spending budget (excluding travel, accommodation, and tickets) is around 4,500 – 6,500 SEK. Is this reasonable for a few days of food, drinks, and sightseeing?
Thanks a lot in advance for any helpful tips and advice!

Question Stockholm Couples Massage?
I’m on my honeymoon with my new hubby, and we’re ending our trip in Stockholm. We’d love to book a couples massage and possibly make a spa day out of it (though a full spa experience isn’t a must).
We’re not overly concerned about price and understand it’ll be on the higher end, but we’re really looking for the best value rather than something that’s just expensive because it’s tourist-focused (we are tourists but just want to avoid the traps that aren’t particularly worth it).
If anyone has recommendations for great spas or even specific therapists, we’d really appreciate it. Saunas, pools, or other amenities would be a bonus but aren’t required. Mostly just hoping to make the most of our time in Sweden.
Thanks so much!

Question 4 days in Stockholm – local spots, food & nightlife recommendations
Hi everyone! 👋
Three friends (guys in our 20s) are visiting Stockholm from March 16–20 and we’d love some local recommendations.
We’re interested in:
• Must-see local attractions (not only the super touristy stuff)
• Good restaurants – from casual local food to something a bit special
• Bars / pubs / clubs with a good atmosphere (craft beer, cocktails, techno/house, live music – open to everything)
We’ll be staying in Mårtensdal, so tips nearby are especially welcome, but we’re happy to move around the city.
Any advice on areas to explore, places locals actually go to, or things that are overrated and can be skipped would be awesome.
Thanks a lot – really looking forward to visiting your city! 🇸🇪🍻
