Atlantic County Looking for A Summer Job

I'm 19 and live in the Atlantic County area. I am home from college for the summer, looking for a summer job. My prior work experience is mostly in IT (I had an IT internship, a cybersecurity internship, and an on-campus job doing IT work for my college).

Now that I am back home in South Jersey for the summer, it's been a struggle to find any kind of work. I've applied to any opportunity I can find that's in the area (largely standard seasonal jobs, not just exclusively IT), yet I haven't gotten any responses.

When I return to college in late August, I will still have my on-campus job to go back to, but I really want some kind of work for the summer. Any advice for finding summer work in South Jersey this late in the season?

Have you tried with your county? Something you could also try is writing to your Assembly members and asking them if they have any leads. These offices are meant for these kinds of constituent services and they might have official or unofficial path ways for you. They might have some job listings or know someone who knows someone who wants an eager and ambitious college student who needs experience and income.

Check with the career center in your county, they're a great resource and might be able to help you find something. Good luck!

If you have a job to go back to I'd just chill all summer. When you work full time you'll miss it.
