Camden County Working from home in Voorhees area.

Curious how many South Jersey “remote workers” are actually working remotely. 😂

Like… where are you really sneaking off to during the day when you need a break from the house? Coffee shops? Breweries with WiFi? Library? Random Panera pretending to answer emails for 3 hours?

And what’s your favorite “work from home but not actually at home” spot in South Jersey?

I swear half the people at Target, HomeGoods, and the Deptford mall food court at 1pm are just avoiding Slack notifications.

No judgment. I’m just looking for new scenery before my couch permanently molds to my body shape.

I work in my house. My breaks are naps. Lol. If I leave during the day it's like the grocery store once a week.

I take walks, pick up lunch, and yes, walk around target sometimes.

My work day is broken up into three parts: morning, afternoon, evening. Long lunch between morning and afternoon is nap, walk, bike ride, mowing the lawn or groceries. Evening is after kids go to bed just cleaning up whatever wasn’t accomplished in the morning/evening. Still ends up being a 7-8 hour work day but it’s nice to take the middle of the day for non-work stuffs.

Edit: My long lunch is on my work calendar, coworkers know I’m not available during that time. No guilt or avoiding work or HR issues.
