Cumberland County Help Millville Residents Say NO to AI Data Centers!

Post image

Hey guys! I’m a member of a grassroots group called Sustain SJ, working to protect our communities from the impacts of AI data centers. This coming Tuesday, April 7th, the city of Millville will be considering an ordinance to ban AI data centers within city limits. If you’re able, please consider coming through! The effects of data centers are much farther reaching than just the immediate community where they’re located. And if you’re interested, Sustain is always accepting new members! You can follow us on Facebook and Insta, or reach out to me for the Discord invite.

Ps I know I look like a bot account, I got locked out of my longstanding account and finally just made this new account so I could share this info lol

There are situations where NJ towns have pushed this OUT! Don’t stop!

I wasn’t suggesting we don’t. My point was there is an April 21st zoning board meeting in Greenwich and I’m bringing a bunch of people to basically do just that.

Are IA data centers military targets?

Yes, AI data centers are increasingly considered military targets, a shift solidified by recent conflicts where such facilities were physically attacked because they serve as "dual-use" infrastructure supporting both civilian and military operations. As militaries integrate AI for intelligence gathering, target identification, and battle simulation, the data centers hosting these capabilities—often owned by commercial giants like Amazon, Google, and Oracle—have become strategic targets.

You know they’ll wanna put this by the airport / racetracks because of the noise ordinance (or lack of one) already in place.

Smart people don't sacrifice community resources for private profit. Peddle your thoughtless trash elsewhere.
