I like how people complain about the price but then order the double burger with extra large fries that are the weight of 4 large packs of mcdonald's fries and can feed 4 people. Which ends up being $20+

Don't get me wrong, it's still $14 for a normal sized burger and fries, which is still pretty expensive.

To be fair, the fries are generous and taste like real potatoes, and you get unlimited toppings on the burger with a much better and bigger patty than McDonald's. And it hits the spot better than McDonald's.

Still could be cheaper. But I guess it's supply and demand. Apparently people are willing to pay more for this.

I always find five guys to be a great value because one order of fries feeds 3-4 people easy. And the burgers are a good size so I am always happy with a single patty there.

Most of the time I get a single patty. It's more than large enough. It hits the spot. Especially since you got so many fries even with little fries. I'm not looking to supersize myself lol.

But if I skipped meals, or went swimming and need to stuff myself, the double patty and regular fries will hit the spot, and some more.

This is what annoys me about redditors and their hate campaign for five guys, Im overweight but if you are ordering anything larger than their single cheeseburger, you have to be a special kind of fat ass. The bacons only like .25 upcharge and you have a shit ton of toppings you can ask for it anyway such as jalapenos and onions caramelized before throwing on the burger. My wife and i both get a jr cheeseburger (i get bacon) and a large fry and 2 medium drinks it comes out to be $33. tbh I don't even need to get the soda if i'm taking it home and it'd be mildly cheaper.
