I like how people complain about the price but then order the double burger with extra large fries that are the weight of 4 large packs of mcdonald's fries and can feed 4 people. Which ends up being $20+
Don't get me wrong, it's still $14 for a normal sized burger and fries, which is still pretty expensive.
To be fair, the fries are generous and taste like real potatoes, and you get unlimited toppings on the burger with a much better and bigger patty than McDonald's. And it hits the spot better than McDonald's.
Still could be cheaper. But I guess it's supply and demand. Apparently people are willing to pay more for this.
Their fries taste like real potatoes because they have the 50-pound sacks of raw potatoes they use sitting right there in every restaurant and cut them fresh.
They could only improve them if they used a low-temp / high-temp double frying process.
If you eat it on location, it's fine, it's usually crispy enough. But carry them out and they get soggy. I'm opening the bag a little, take them out of the paper cup, and moving the napkins to the side to prevent them from getting too soggy when I do take out.
