I like how people complain about the price but then order the double burger with extra large fries that are the weight of 4 large packs of mcdonald's fries and can feed 4 people. Which ends up being $20+
Don't get me wrong, it's still $14 for a normal sized burger and fries, which is still pretty expensive.
To be fair, the fries are generous and taste like real potatoes, and you get unlimited toppings on the burger with a much better and bigger patty than McDonald's. And it hits the spot better than McDonald's.
Still could be cheaper. But I guess it's supply and demand. Apparently people are willing to pay more for this.
They're pretty crispy when you eat there. If you do take out, and they hang out in the bag, especially the ones stuck in their little cup, they get soggy and lose their crisp.
If you pick them up for take out, get them out of the cup immeditately, and get rid of the cup, keep the top of the bag a little open. Make sure there's not a bunch of napkings covering the fries.
They'll retain some of their crisp. Some may even stay fully crispy. They definitely won't be as soggy.
