I like how people complain about the price but then order the double burger with extra large fries that are the weight of 4 large packs of mcdonald's fries and can feed 4 people. Which ends up being $20+
Don't get me wrong, it's still $14 for a normal sized burger and fries, which is still pretty expensive.
To be fair, the fries are generous and taste like real potatoes, and you get unlimited toppings on the burger with a much better and bigger patty than McDonald's. And it hits the spot better than McDonald's.
Still could be cheaper. But I guess it's supply and demand. Apparently people are willing to pay more for this.
Also some teens introduced me to a great 5 guys hack, where you order a large fries, they come in a massive cup, you tip the fries into your bag and you go use the cup at the refill station, thus saving £7 on a drink
