Maybe it’s gotten exponentially better since i had it last.

It has always been the most overpriced for what it is to me

My local shake shack charges $9.50 for a cheeseburger that's the size of the ones other burger places give you for $2, so obviously you need a double and at that point it's 12.50. Fries are an extra $5. So now you're $17.50 in for a burger and fries, and they don't even have the decency to be charging that much for a GOOD burger, it's dry and flavorless

I'm gonna pass on that every time, so many better meals to be had for $15

It's not cheap. And it's kinda small. But it really tastes great. I can only speak for the UK ones though. 5 Guys is much the same either side of the Atlantic in my experience, so I imagine it's pretty much the same.
