Dad simulator games

I’m looking for games similar to The Last of Us or Pragmata. What I really enjoy is the emotional, story-driven experience and the relationship between the main character and their companion, especially the parent/guardian and child dynamic. It doesn’t have to be post-apocalyptic, but I’d love something with strong character development, a memorable journey, and a bond that feels central to the story.

I’ve already played The Last of Us 1+2 and am almost done with Pragmata, so I’m looking for other recommendations. What games would you suggest? Thanks :)

I’ve watched my gf play 9 and I didn’t really feel like it had “dad” vibes haha

Hey so, I wouldn't know for sure. But I hear the Telltale Walking Dead game has that feel

I watched a play-through of the chapters involving Lee when it came out. Beautiful story + characters

Based on the name, I can’t tell if you’re trolling haha. What’s the story about?

Actually not trolling lol but I understand if this isn't what you're looking for.The game follows Kovalsky, a crime scene cleaner who cleans up crime scenes for money, and eventually finds himself in the employ of a mafia boss. He will do anything to be able to pay for his daughters medical care. His daughter's treatmeant is the main motivation and is a big factor in the story. Keep in mind, You never actually see his daughter as an in-game model, but you hear her voice a bit and get e-mails from her after every mission. She's also in a family portrait at your home, which you can roam freely in in-between missions. This game is part first-person cleaning sim, part true-crime, and sometimes part horror game......kinda, but most of the time it's pretty chill and funny. Kovalsky makes a lot of dad jokes. There is an upgrade tree and some fun collectibles, especially the cassette tapes which give some surprisingly banger music to listen to whenever you want. It's a very well-made game. You'll be surprised by the intricate level design and all the secrets hidden in the levels
