Sharpe’s Command
Hoping someone knowledgeable can advise me.
Looking to track down a Harper Collins paperback copy of Sharpe’s Command to match my existing copies of other titles in the series.
They all look like this first pic and that’s the version I would really like.
However most copies I can seem to find online look more like the second pic.
Does anyone know if Sharpe’s Command came out too late to look like the others? Is it possible even for me to get a matching copy?

Every few years the style was updated. This included all new volumes and the latest imprint of existing. I don't think you are going to find the previous style. Sorry.

I know the person who designed this. Will ask tomorrow and come back to you, but pretty sure it came out too late.

As an aside to my previous reply, how cool you know the actual artist / designer responsible for these covers!

Thank you all, really appreciate the insights.
What you are all saying actually makes sense. When I look back, I downloaded a list of the titles but they are in chronological order of when stories set, rather than purely publication dates. So Sharpe’s Command will most definitely have been written later than some of the other titles that appear later in my list.
I just know now not to waste weeks scouring online for something that doesn’t exist!
Thank you all again.

Is Sharpe's command worth the read I've heard people say it wasn't very good?

It's a swing and a miss. In isolation it's 6/10 but as part of the wider series it's a 4/10 because it gets so many details wrong. Sharpe's rank for one thing, he goes from a Captain in Company to a Major in Command and back to a Captain in Sword

From what I’ve seen, the design style changed before Command came out and so I don’t think that there will be one in the style of your Gold. For your sake, I hope I’m wrong
